What if Mario Spin Off Characters Used Power Ups?
Featuring Count Bleck from Super Paper Mario!
Thought I’d try to finish what I started with this mini project of giving spin off characters power ups since they don’t really exist in those games. If they do, they don’t function the same way (Super Mushroom gives HP, 1 Ups revive, etc).
Up next is Fawful!

Super Mario 3D World spoilers below!!
So I've been playing Super Mario 3D World (+ Bowser's Fury) for the first time. I've already 100%ed everything but the last Mystery House and Champion's Road and am hoping to get a full 100%. Though I think I'll be happy enough if I beat Champion's Road with at least one character lol
The game's been so much fun, and I can't believe I didn't even know you could unlock Rosalina this entire time! Like, I've only seen her in some pics online and thought it was a mod or something. I genuinely had no idea. So I was so surprised and so happy to get her.
This is just a quick doodle to commemorate the fact I technically beat the game as each character, and actually already 100%ed World 1 through World Flower. I figured it would be cool to post something at least loosely Super Mario Galaxy themed on The Super Mario Galaxy Movie premiere day. But I've been so hooked on this game I just had to draw something for it rather than focus on the movie for the time being, so this is the compromise haha!

my hc for some of the mario power ups is that they rely on the user's magic for how intense the effect will be. ex, only ears and tail vs full transformation (which replaces the suits). species are different too, though no one really knows yet if they're based on biology, the stars, or the power ups themselves (there are still people arguing that the power ups are sentient beings. Some even believe that they're the result of shooting stars and a gift from the Stars themselves, a fraction of their power that they use as windows to observe mortals)
from them, only L and Dimentio have enough magic control and practice to fully transform rather than a partial one, and Mimi cannot use transformation power ups point blank due to being, well, a zombie cyborg (long story hc that will need its own post). so this is more to show off what they'd look like hypothetically, though the designs desperately need a revamp because WHAT DO YOU MEAN THIS IS FROM 2023 YOU'RE KIDDING ME-

Bowser Day 2017 - Feline Nap
Finding new ways to defeat Mario during his stance in Pixie World was a tough work, most of the time he was planning to create some train fortress, big buildings and gifting himself a very neat luxury car. And meanwhile he wasn't doing that, testing the brand new powerups was a nice idea. A long day of work requires a deserved nap ----- Bowser Day, August 4th is the day!
