"Having some fun!"
I have this little headcanon that Jack likely played one or more of the early Super Mario games on the NES. Either in his family's home or at a friend's house at some point before he got wrapped up in Playtime Co's schemes. Nothing wrong with a little playing pretend to make light of the situation after all!

I gotta say it was quite a process with trying to create actual comic panels for this. It was actually really challenging for me because I'm so used to drawing without them. I just get nervous that my drawings would feel restricted. It's just easier for me to draw without any kind of borders on paper.
So I went the safe route by going digital. I tried keep the revised comic in the same general positioning as it looks in my sketchbook. But it didn't translate very well and was not working the way I wanted. With my friend @epic-chronicles looking over the first digital draft for me, who was very helpful with her insight on it!(Thanks again! :3) It had pushed me to get a little more creative and completely rearrange the drawings. And I'm really, really happy with the final result!
Side note, I did have to redraw Doey jumping however, because the original sketch looked strange to me when flipped over. I also wanted to fix up the perspective on that anyway to better fit with the new version.
