ἰάπτει δ᾽ ἐλπίδων ἀφ᾽ ὑψιπύργων πανώλεις βροτούς, βίαν δ᾽ οὔτιν᾽ ἐξοπλίζει: πᾶν ἄπονον δαιμονίων. ἥμενος ὃν φρόνημά πως αὐτόθεν ἐξέπραξεν ἔμπας ἑδράνων ἐφ᾽ ἁγνῶν.
He hurls from Their high-towered hopes Mortals with Complete destruction, But he arms Himself with no force: All deities do Is without toil. Though seated on His holy seat Nevertheless, In the blink of an eye, He somehow Fulfills his will.
