Looks at the dish warily before taking a bite.
As a gentleman, he eats it as he normally does, giving you a smile.
"It tastes great, love."
You beam at him but you don't notice how he's basically gulping down the plate, trying not to let it stay on his taste buds.
CHILDE
Would try to excuse himself, using Fatui business as an excuse but if you manage to make him stay, then he'd hesitantly take a seat
Laughs nervously before taking a bite and complimenting you really happy.
"Wow this.. this is amazing, baby! The best one you've whipped up so far. I love it!"
You're fooled into thinking it's the best dish ever but the moment you look away, it gets thrown out the window or in the trash.
ZHONGLI
Would eat it like any other dish — as someone who's been through the horrors of war, he's quite grateful for anything edible.
But as a grandpa gentleman, he's eager to help you learn without hurting your feelings!
"What a delicious meal, darling. How about I help you the next time you make it?"
Finishes the plate clean, even if it takes a little longer for him to eat than usual.
KAEYA
Gives you a nervous smile; quite frankly, he's scared to even sit on the table but you drag him towards it excitedly
"Heheh.. Sweetheart, you know I appreciate everything you do but you've really outdone yourself this time."
Would start eating it normally but gives up halfway when he feels his stomach failing him. If he eats any more, he'll puke!
"It tastes... nice." You raise your eyebrow at his comment and half-finished dish. "It might need some work though."
THOMA
He doesn't want to judge a book by its cover: so although it looks terrible, it can't be that bad, right?
"It tastes amazing! I think I know a few ways to improve the recipe, how about it?"
Also one of the people who tries to not hurt your feelings but as a housekeeping teacher, he only wants to help you!
If you keep failing though, he'll become more honest with his thoughts: "How about um.. we leave the cooking to me, love?"
