Orson Krennic and Wilhuff Tarkin - Don’t Throw Jabs At Me

I can see these two having a long history of verbal sparring.

‘When someone is bothering someone else, "Don't throw jabs at me" or "Quit jabbing!" are popular sayings. This may be because the verbal annoyances are not substantial attacks, and are similar to a boxing jab in that they are annoying with no knockout blow.’ Collins Dictionary

Not the worst Empire Day party Orson has been to, yet. But as the night moves on he will:

have a few more drinks,

forget his annoyance at Tarkin,

throw up on a statue of Palpatine,

lose a boot,

have a crises of procrastination and make up for lost work time by automatically approving those damn exhaust port schematics Galen Erso has been forwarding him for days.

My part for the @thegalacticimperials Big Bang event: I got paired up with @ivnwrites and got to illustrate her fic: Till Only My Bones Remain!

AU where Krennic suddenly dropped out of the Academy and disappeared, only to resurface years later as the leader of a small crew of pirates. Hired by the alliance to raid the Eadu base, Krennic abducts Galen as part of the job, planning to turn him over once they reach Yavin.

Of course, things rarely go as planned for Krennic.
