Honestly, if Walter had to hear ‘The Power of Love’ one more time, he was gonna bring out the big firecrackers. (The ones that hadn’t blown up in his face already, that is.) He had been trying to take a trailer nap for the last twenty minutes, only to be woken up by the thundering chorus of ‘CAUSE I’M YOUR LAAADY…AND YOU ARE MY MAAAN…’

More than once, he found himself plastered against the roof of his trailer, his heart threatening to burst out of his chest. (And not because of the subject of the song–u g h.) The first time was enough to make him feel rather ill, but by now, Walter was ready to take a mallet to the stereo. With his luck, though, the stereo was bound to zap him back. 

He hated being one to beg, but not as much as he hated this song. 

“MAKE IT STOP! PLEASE! MAKE IT STOP!”
