Switch Oled on Friday

Hello, my friends — how are we doing?

Okay, so I’m really excited right now. I finally bought myself a Switch OLED!

The reason I didn’t get the Switch 2 is the price. I have something personal coming up in January that I need to save money for, and honestly? I don’t mind. I did want a Switch 2, but the OLED was the better choice for me right now — and honestly it’s still such a nice system.

I’ve never owned the regular Switch before, only the Switch Lite for the past six years. Since the Lite can’t be docked or connected to a TV or computer, this is going to be a whole new experience for me. I’m excited, but I’m also a little nervous because I’ve never used a docked Switch before.

But I can’t wait to plug it into my laptop and use it as a display for my games!

It’s coming on Friday, and I’m off Saturday and Sunday, so I’ll have time to mess around with it and get all my games transferred once it charges.

My Switch Lite also has pretty bad Joy-Con drift, so I’m really hoping this new one doesn’t end up with the same issue. Luckily I already have backup Joy-Cons, so I won’t even use the ones that come with the OLED just in case.

And honestly… whoever has a Switch 2? You’re very lucky. I would’ve gotten it too, but life happens and I’ve got other things going on. I did get a really good deal on the OLED after Cyber Monday, though!

If anyone has tips for switching from the Lite to the OLED, I would love to hear them because I’m new to this and a bit nervous.
