Dream is no stranger to pain, and Techno knows this all too well. It's why he offers him a place at the Syndicate's table after breaking him out of prison. Of course, the other members have their own thoughts about this. The only person who seems to fully agree with this decision is Phil. Perhaps he, too, is tired of war. Perhaps they're all tired of being the gods' playthings and turning on each other at a moment's notice. Not everyone in the six realms of Desempé want the same thing, however. Some want to challenge the gods while others want to be like them. But it's in the moments of quiet that truly matters. It's where the weary can take their rest and find love in way that works for them.
