- what do you primarily use for system organization? what do you like / dislike about it?

Lots of various notes using an app called EasyNotes + chatting in Simply Plural :3 For us this works pretty good and there’s not too many downsides other than the fact someone might forget to check those or someone else deletes a note. -Yuki

- how consistent are you with logging switches / do you even bother?

VERY inconsistent. -Yuki

We tend to switch a varying amount throughout the day so logging everything during a busy day just indent feasible. Instead we keep an internal log (overseen by certain alters) and on the digital board in the fronting room. This digital board acts like a white board of sorts but with lots of other capabilities. -Jade

- if you have fictives, how do they tend to feel about sourcemates? is there a general agreement or no?

- what's your go-to method for figuring out appearance for parts? picrew, pinterest, drawing them? something else?

typically whatever is most comfy to whoever is fronting when the body wakes up :3 for opposite styles.. prolly Maxi and this other alter who hasn’t chosen a name yet. Maxi has very dark alt style vs the other alter had a super soft and simple style - Yuki

I usually try to be as comforting as possible.. some parts get really freaked out but others already know why there here. It’s just about trying to find a good balance and making sure the part feels comfortable and heard :3 - Ava

uhhh low key pretty different ? but i’ll eat almost anything (if u can get me to eat lol) -Yuki

- if you have a collective name / theme, how did you decide on it?

starsoul-collective! because even if we’re all our own “star” we make up a whole collective / constellation and we wouldn’t be our own ‘solar’ system without each other :3 and souls to represent well.. our souls lol -Yuki

- what's one thing you wish people understood about your system? (does not need to be about CDDs in general)

umm we’re still like people- we’re not some aliens and we still have feelings etc what have u. some systems can live their lives mostly okay and uh uh just don’t treat us like some foreign animal :> -Yuki + Jade

We finally got ourselves a physical system journal. I'm excited to start using it, not sure exactly what we want to gain from it? But at the very least it'll help us all practice handwriting and maybe keeping a routine will help with other things too.

If anyone has any advice or ideas for keeping a system journal, please do tell, I'm a tad clueless.

FAVOURITE PART OF HER DESIGN

I love the stripe down the middle of her shirt in the original design, and the little straps on her arm warmers. in her synthV design I really love the amount of detail. the sheet music-esc lines across her shirt and skirt, the military vibes, the zips and underskirt. I love the two different sleeve styles over the top of each other, it gives her design a really nice silhouette.

Rambling

I dont like who I am. Not because I hate myself entirely, but because this ISN'T who I am. I am not Beau. I am not what he stands for. I am actually very different from him. But no one sees that. They all perceive me as Beau and they always will. And I will never escape this body. I will always have to be who I am not. I will have to look at myself in the mirror and accept that his face is my own.

But it isnt. I am not Beau. I never will be. I never want to be him. I dont... hate him... but he isnt me. And I just don't like that I have to fit into his mold

I dont agree with anything he thinks and I dont really like the people he talks to. I have entirely different values and perspectives and preferences and ... I have to act like I dont. Because what of me if I dont act? I dont front often. I should value the frequent fronter's lives over mine because they have to deal with everyday life. But I dont want to be this. I want to be my own person. And it's horrible. It's so, so horrible.

imagine being in a body that isnt yours. talking to people you dont know. saying things you dont agree with. all for some fragments in your mind that you dont even interact with.

I have to give up my identity, my body, my VOICE. I HAVE TO GIVE EVERYTHING FOR A SYSTEM THAT DOESNT CARE. Because I'm just a fragment. And I matter much less than the people in charge.

I'm not even sure if I will front again after this post. I'll fade into the background. Like I never even mattered. And my voice will never be heard again. I wont speak, I wont think, I wont live.
