Thought it was worth making a post-formatted system introduction so.
Hi, we're the Spacetime System. We're Quoigenic; some members will disclose their nature but the origin of our system is none of your business and not relevant to respecting us. We're physically an adult and most of our system members are also adults unless specified.
Starling is the host, usually either frontstuck or co-conscious. Xe carries most of the system's trauma, and generally remembers most things that happen to us (though kinda spottily).
Star identifies as nonhuman and otherkin, with strong ties to the fae and flawed divinity such as fallen angels.
These are the people you'll see most often. They tend to float closer to front, are easier for Star to communicate with, and are more likely to take front or co-con.
Jinx / Billie / V (she/they)
The Janusian primary protector and part-time persecutor of the system, Jinx is the member who currently has the strongest connection with Star. They split from Star a couple years ago and are a fictive of three different characters: V from Cyberpunk 2077, Jinx from Arcane, and Billie Wesker from the Netflix Resident Evil series. She usually appears in the form pictured, but can appear differently depending on triggers and agesliding.
General rule of thumb in terms of how they appear:
Jinx: emotional distress, more likely to be persecutor
Billie: ageslide to teen, tends to be more standoffish/moody
Powder: ageslide to child, completely emotionally distressed, usually only happens when she's deeply triggered
You'll almost always see V or Jinx here, she doesn't much care to be present when agesliding.
Our spiritual protector and gatekeeper, Tyger used to spend more time up front but has mellowed out and tends to chill away from front these days, especially now Jinx has taken up most of the protector responsibilities so now she has time to spend entirely focused on her son.
L is ageless, and has been Star's protector for multiple lifetimes. To cut a very long story short, she's an alien and a spirit, and she can shapeshift into any feline form but prefers tigers.
Fox is Liara's son, and a canine shapeshifter who prefers the form of an arctic fox. He is half-angel, and ages as normal so far (he's 11 as of 2024). There's not much to say about him other than he's an absolute ray of sunshine and we adore him.
These are the system members who are always present or usually reachable, but don't usually front or have minimal communication with host.
Thane - Ulva's caregiver. Fictive of Thane Krios from Mass Effect. Has literally never fronted and I don't think he cares to.
Oscar - Ghost. Hangs around out of headspace. Occasionally pops in to mediate conversations or comfort younger people but mostly keeps to himself.
These guys don't usually reside in headspace, they're spirits and such who visit from time to time. Not technically system members but they're here for simplicity's sake.
Jophiel - my guardian angel. Sassy little shit.
Eidos - my child. Spends more time with their father's side of the family, but pops in from time to time. Very smol.
Standby - we've seen this guy like one time and have zero communication with it. It appears to be the entity that takes over when nobody is fronting.
Fawn - what I've taken to calling a new member. Not fully actualised yet. Not entirely sure they actually exist.
