Max and Ronald talk to Tag24’s Katrin Koch in Dresden about “Zwei zu Eins” and what was the first thing they bought with ‘Western money” back then ❤️
Max was only 6 years old when the reunification happened, he bought “Milchschnitte by Kinder” chocolate bar 😝; Ronald was almost 14 years old, so he bought a double cassette recorder for 120 D-Mark.
Max also mentioned in the film, the former East German bank notes in close-up shots were real money, for the rest, they used copies. Ronald himself still keeps some East German banknotes and coins at home. Both former east-Berliners are excited to showcase the film in their “Heimat” (homeland) ☺️
