I think because Tak was Jibolba's apprentice and Lok, as the mighty warrior of the prophecy, was trained by Jibolba - that the two were kinda like brothers.

I just acquired the Tak series on PS2 after not playing it since I was a child and I’m really enjoying replaying them!! 💙

made some line art in pen, snapped a pic, transfered the ink lines, and filled in some color digitally. the aesthetic is supeisingly appealing!

and yes, i did imitate official Dragon Ball GT art. i'm out of practice and wanted something simple.

reimagined Kakarot as a young mage, gave them some Dragon Quest inspired clothes.

(tahutoa) For real though, the Dream World is such a great example of ‘the beautiful abstract’. Ryan Wood (he made this particular drawing) and Todd Harris are like this dream team when it comes to this art style that all of Tak’s artwork was done in.
