Cubbug: It shares characteristics with bug and mammal Pokémon. Being in its presence has a calming effect.

Some cubbug varieties local to Tandor, and some from species that have been bred in other regions! 

As a Route 1 pokémon, I think cubbug would be very common to see around the world. I imagined cubbug and caterpie spending time together and couldn’t help but design a bunch of variants :)

Okay so it’s my understanding that West Tandor is based on Brazil and East Tandor is based on three Eurasian countries that have a deep history of immigration to Brazil, specifically Italy (Venesi), Russia (Snowbank) and Japan (Tsukinami).

I could be wrong but I also have a hunch that: Bealbeach = Rio de Janeiro, Vinoville = Rio Grande do Sul, Amatree = Amazonas, Nowtoch = São Paulo, Legen = Mato Grosso, Rochefale = Belo Horizonte.

@pokemon-uranium does any of this check out?
