Hum iss duniya mein akele aate hain,

iss duniya se akele chale jaate hain,

Phir Kyun iss duniya ke safar ko kaatne ke liye kisi ke saath ki zaroorath hai?

Aur agar kisi ke saath ki zaroorath ho,

Toh phir, yeh khamoshi kyun hai??

Koi nahi hai aas paas,

Door door tak sirf tanhayi hai!!

Yun toh bahut kaanton ka dard saha hai,

Phir Kyun, yeh tanhayi itni kaathti hai??

Haayee!! Vo tanhayi ki awaazein bhi,

Ghadi ki tic-tic aur pani ka boondh tab-tap!!

Samjhana padega iss dil ko,

Apna na padega iss tanhayi ko!!

Kyuki ab lagne laga hai,

Dhokon ke phool se behtar hai tanhayi ke kaante!!

Aae dil ab tu phoolon ki aas chodh de,

Kyunki abhi waqt hai, kaanton ko apnale……!!!!!

We have come into this world alone,

We will leave this world alone,

Then why do we need someone as a companion to travel the journey of life in this world?

If we need someone as a companion,

Then why is there silence around me?

There is nothing nearby me,

Can only see the loneliness around me.

I’ve usually been through with the pain of thorns,

Then why is the pain of loneliness beyond the pain of thorns?

Shhh!! That sounds of loneliness though,

That “tic-toc” of a clock and “drip-drip” of a water tap.

The heart needs to understand,

And try to adopt this loneliness.

Because now I feel,

The thorns of loneliness are far better than the roses of gyp.

Oh dear Heart, Please stop waiting for roses,

Because now it’s time to adopt the thorns of roses.
