Day 3 - T25
YAY I made it to day 3 :P
Really took alot of effort to get the workout done .. ugh so tired.
Started my day at 8 am even though class was only at 10 :P But iI'm glad I took the bus to school and didnt sleep in instead haha.
I seriously need to sort out my meal times :/ hmmm gotta think about how to do it though.
Todays workout (which I did at midnight) was total body circuit AND OMG IT WAS EFFING CRAY. I sweated as much as when I do Insanity and thats a bloody 45 min workout.... shows how hard shaun pushes you in just 25 mins which is awesome.
Really happy with what I have accomplished today, especially musically :) Got one track done with a super awesomely talented producer and I can't wait to share the song but till then haha ..
- Sometimes I feel like I have to type these "diary" entries for people to read ... but really they are just for me to reflect and see how far I have come, its just that doing it publicly gives me a bit of motivational pressure to get it done and continue my journey ^_^
Day 1 - T25
So today is the first day back to working out and healthy eating after a "nice" long month of slacking and unhealthy eating, but I kinda planned it this way. I started insanity in october or november and it lasted about a month before I got bored because month 2 is an hour long ... lets face it, failure was inevitable if a workout video is that long everyday :/ BUT that wasn't the only reason why i gave up the "healthy lifestyle" for a while :
1- relationship was going down the drain (my motivator was gone)
2- all the holiday food was coming out
3- kept getting sick
4- knees started hurting like a biatch
5- just want to give up.
So I said to myself , ok go ahead eat whatever you want except fastfood and make sure you eat in proportion so you don't fuck up everything you have worked to lose. I still stayed pretty healthy at first but slowly my snacking habit came back. I'm not sure why but my weaknesses are chocolate and chips so yeah. Don't get me wrong it wasn't like I was eating massive amounts of snacks, it was more like whenever I walked past the kitchen or fridge, I just had to go grab something to munch on. But I guess my trip to Australia fixed that, my family there are super allergic/intolerant to alot of foods, so they eat super healthy ... AND i ended up with major indigestion problems after having dairy in my hot chocolate :/ and well lets just say i lost all my holiday weight through that and now I can't really look at dairy and pie in the same way:P When I came back to Singapore, there was still one week left till the new year, so I just said to myself again, heres your last chance to go crazy, remember that feeling of junk food and how sluggish and gross it makes you feel. I can honestly say I have never felt more bleugh in a long time.
So I guess it is worth it to try cheating on some days just to remind yourself why you stopped all your bad habits. Well today I stayed to healthy eating pretty well.
- fruits and juice
- cashew nuts
-thai chicken with abit of rice
- chinese roasted chicken with veg
so overall pretty good :)
today was the first day of school so I kinda just died after dinner by having a 2-3 hour nap, I woke up around 10pm and gave myself time to wake up abit and decided to get back into T25 which I tried 2 days of in dec. and I really liked it because it was so fast to get done. I like how it uses abit of insanity and who doesn't love the gorgeous SHAUN T. <3
so yeah first day cardio ... I have lost pretty much all my muscle and core strength :( and my stamina is kinda not as good as it was before but...... MY KNEES DON'T HURT! which is awesome because that was another reason why I couldn't take Insanity .. it just hurt way too much:/
Can't wait for tomorrows work out .. hopefully writing it all down will make me want to workout more and act as a motivation :P
- I need to do this for myself and not for anyone else. I have to want it for me.
