Turn your left-over night into a tapas night! It’s the simplest thing to do. Pull out your favorite charcuterie board (we’ve got some great ones if you need one!) and some fun, small dishes. Then just start adding what looks good to you - I always include olives, French pickles, a soft cheese and a hard cheese. Crackers are great, but any sort of bread will do - baguettes are especially fun. A little left over pizza? Wings? Even lunch meat. Heat up the hot stuff, and place it among the other little dishes. Roll up sliced meat and cheese and serve directly on papers (a paper towel will do in a pinch) to protect your board surface. Suddenly left-over night becomes a treat! Add cocktails or a bottle of wine. And Voila! A delightful tapas night is ready. And don’t forget after dinner - break out some sherry or port. I love Lustau - I found it about 30 years ago when I was looking for sherry for a recipe. I always believe in good ingredients in, good taste comes out. So I asked what a good drinking sherry would be, that would work well in a bisque. The obliging liquor store owner took me directly to this brand. I have had a bottle of their fino at the ready ever since. Don’t even think about a bowl of bisque without it! After dinner, it’s their cream sherry that is magical. And in a pretty sherry glass like these from @vintageblissboutique it’s the perfect way to end your evening. Enjoy!! . We’ll be on site Saturday, 10-2 to get you prices and information.
