Justin Trudeau goes off on the dictator during his tariff response speech
Thanks, ‘Merica!
I mean, I guess congratulations are in order, Donald Trump. You’ve managed to mobilize an entire country. I’ve never seen so many Canadians this determined to buy local.
Have the day you voted for, y’all!
President Trump's senior aide Peter Navarro latched on to Brahmins to attack India's oil purchase from Russia. He meant Boston Brahmins said
Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva has hit back at Donald Trump’s tariff threats, saying that his American counterpart was electe
“If Trump was Brazilian and if he did what happened at Capitol Hill, he’d also be on trial in Brazil. And possibly he would have violated the Constitution. According to justice, he would also be arrested if he had done that here in Brazil.”
This is how a true democracy works. No one is above the law.
On tariffs being postponed
Donald Trump postponed the tariffs that were set to be implemented in Canada in February to be reinstated later. Why?
In my opinion, to some extent, he knows that it will actually do only bad things for his economy.
People will boycott American-made products, and those American companies will, possibly, have to lay off employees. That’s not good for the economy.
Or they may just simply lose enough profit to no longer fund their own production, and disperse the company. That’s not good for the economy, either.
Or Canada will shut off the power grid and raise the prices of their minerals they sell to America. That’s not good for the economy.
Donald Trump never was the option for the economy. He was the option if you want a bigoted dictatorship. If you can’t see that, there is a big problem with how you view him.
If you’re a queer person and voted for him, you voted against yourself. If you’re a poor person and voted for him, you voted against yourself. If you’re a POC who voted for him, you voted against yourself. If you’re a woman who voted for him, you voted against yourself. If you’re a non-Christian who voted for him, you voted against yourself.
At this point in time, I can no longer hold sympathy for those who wanted his presidency. If you did, or still do, just put the eagle on your coat in the same place the swastika was on Nazi uniforms.
He never wanted to boost the economy, he wanted to make himself king.
