Hi, could you do a DJD headcanon for a human reader, like they were just gonna take it as hostage but eventually became a honorary crew.

they weren't sure how, why, or when the change happened

one day you sat in a cage for an animal, and now you're atop tesarus's shoulder while you argue about human reality tv

nickel is by far having the hardest time with this change. she despises humans, more so than the usual decepticon hatred towards humanity, and for good reason honestly

nickel will never go out of her way to talk to you, but she at least tolerates your presence and refrains from ripping you limb from limb. call it a win

she does, VERY reluctantly learn human anatomy and medicine at the request of the crew (she wasn't going to until tarn got involved)

speaking of tarn, he is also handling it very poorly. he's conflicted. on one servo, he strangely enjoys the alien presence. his world has been opened to a variety of music and literature he would have NEVER willingly exposed himself to before. on the other servo, he's a decepticon. not just a decepticon, he is the leader of the decepticon justice division.

tarn will act like letting you free on the ship was his call, just to feel like he has control over you, as if it wasn't because helex wanted a mascot, tes got bored, and kaon thought you would be a cute new pet

kaon treats the human like a pet that can talk, not like a sentient being with autonomy over themself. he really just sees you as a friend for the pet, just a little smarter

from an outside perspective, it seems that vos has the same mindset as kaon. then again, no one ever really knows what's going on in vos's little head

in the start, vos found fun in tormenting you. dragging you into the vents and watch you get lost and terrified, throwing you around, just generally terrifying you.

then, when he got bored with that, and had some realisations surrounding his past and your situation, it turned more into a morbid curiosity

but now you're no better than him. the vents are your domain

helex and you have kind of a.. strained relationship

he was banned from interacting with you when you were still caged. he kept threatening to eat you. the others thought it was just to scare you, until he actually tried

so yeah, that's still on your mind

helex is probably the freakiest of the whole djd, in both meanings of the word. he will not stop trying to weird you out, but depending on your reactions, he might warm up to you

once you said you were cold so he threw you in his smelter on a low setting. you still freaked the fuck out bc you thought you were going to die

nickel thought it was hilarious, kaon was pissed that helex stressed out his little pet

i'm definitely biased because tesarus is my favourite, but you and tes get along like a house fire.

his previous interactions with human media give him more understanding of your references you might bring up

you are the only one allowed in tesarus's room. it is filled with cutesy plushies, posters, and human media references, he will die before the rest of the djd finds out.

given you are human, he feels safer revealing this to you

he will kick your ass at mario kart, don't fucking test him

Hey this might be weird , but can you do , djd killed a human and they haunt them , i really wanna see what kind of reaction they have to ghosts , like do organics have a soul ?? Or what ever you want

DJD being haunted by a human

—It’s pretty obvious why you’re haunting them.—

—I’ve said before that Helex is very interested in human stomachs because he compares them to his smelter, he takes the chance to see a human stomach up close.—

—Nickel is more than happy to take revenge for her home. She has always wondered how humans move around, she’d love to see how tendons work instead of gears and pulleys.—

—All of them are rather curious if humans splat or crunch. They’ve had arguments about it before, and they placed bets before they chucked you at a wall to finish it all off.—

—Nickel wasn’t to happy about that though, she made them clean it up.—

Tesarus or Vos is the first to see your ghost.

Tes gets bored and wanders the ship just looking for something to put his energy into. Usually he gives up and takes a nap

Depending on whether you wanna scare him or make him feel guilty doesn’t matter. He’s freaked the fuck out

The rest of the DJD come running when Tes lets out a high pitched screech

They don’t see anything and they (mostly Helex) relentlessly make fun of Tes

for 1. that fucking scream because what in the pit and 2. he’s scared of a human. a human ghost that doesn’t exist

You go around and pick them out one by one to scare them.

Kaon is especially freaked out. He’s blind and relies on echolocation (i love that this is cannon) when he doesn’t have the pet, and the fact that he can tell where you are scares him.

He can’t see you, can’t touch you, can’t hear you walk or breathe, and he can’t find where you are with echolocation.

The only way he knows you’re there is if the pet goes crazy or you make yourself known

Tarn is either freaking the fuck out or he tries to talk to you while internally freaking out.

Nickel is the one who actually tries to talk to you. Only because she thinks it’s annoying that harmless little you is completely disabling the most feared division in the universe.

When they finally all group up to discuss what’s happening, they all kind of agree they thought humans didn’t have souls.

They think of humans how a human would think of a bug; step on it and move on. Just more intelligent (though not much)

They just hate you, and they let it be known. Tarn is the one that realises you hold the power; being immortal and unharmable and all

—He at least tries to be civil. It’s extremely awkward, because his team was laughing while they killed you brutally and now he’s being all polite.—

Vos is the only one that kind of enjoys this. He doesn’t wanna talk about the noise he made when he saw you in the vents for the first time, but he appreciates a fellow scare artist.

It’s kind of an unspoken truce between the two of you (eventually)

And between you and Tarn. He has no idea what you can truly do and doesn’t want to find out, so he makes it a point to try and stay on your good side.

That doesn’t mean he’s not a little off put, he just not an asshole about it like Helex is.

Helex’s mouth is a trash dump when you’re near him. Every organic slur in the book is thrown at you, whether you know what it means or not.

Tes can’t look you in the eye. Or at you in general. He’s embarrassed by that scream and he can’t stand how awkward it is to have a former victim standing in front of him

the headcanons kind of turned more into guidelines for me for when i decide to write an actual story lmfao

DJD finding an unaligned fembot

When they first pick up the signal, they don’t think much of it.

The whole reason they go is because the next bot on the list is far away, and they’re bored as shit

They eventually get to an old (like Vos kind of old) ship and determine that as the source of the signal, but no one is inside

Everyone kind of goes their own ways to find the force of the blip but keeps in contact with one another to avoid an ambush

Tes eventually finds you. You’re hooked up to a stasis pod, and calls the others over.

Tes wakes you up totally by accident. He got bored and starting fiddling with shit and pressing buttons

Then you fall out of the pod and scare the shit out of him

I’m absolutely STUCK to the headcanon that tes has a really high pitched scream and gets mocked relentlessly by the others about it

Anyway, the DJD get there just in time to hear that lovely sound /sar

Most of them just kind of stare as you slowly come to, groaning while you pick yourself up

They whisper amongst themselves as you do so, and stop as soon as you ask who they are

Like you can’t be serious

Are you?

Tarn stutters as he introduces himself and his team, purely out of shock that you don’t know who they are.

He doesn’t yet mention what they do, he understands enough to tread carefully from here on out

Helex (being Helex) attempts to intimidate you (or starts) before being reprimanded by Nickel

Nickel insists they get you to the Peaceful Tyranny. You’re clearly woozy, you can barely stand, now’s not the time to interrogate the poor thing

Tarn and Nickel try to be at least decent. Tarn is a firm believer that respect and kindness should always be shown as a good first impression.

This applies even towards Autobots. The only time this doesn’t apply is towards traitors, though the rest of the DJD are reluctant in following these methods

Anyway, Tarn demands the rest of the DJD to at least try to show some hospitality toward you while he and Nickel figure out wtf is going on

The DJD are listening in while Tarn and Nickel converse with you

Buttering you up with simple questions like what’s your designation, where are you from, do you know where you are, stuff like that

Before finally asking your faction

The silence is almost deafening when you ask what an autobot or deception is.

The process of explaining the war to you is very delicate.

They all understand if you’re told everything that happened all at once, you’ll run screaming from them.

So they explain it in a way similar to how Cyclonus explained it to Tailgate, though Nickel ensures it stays at least somewhat neutral

As neutral it’s gonna get when being explained by a bunch of bots who literally worship Megatron like a god

When you ask what their role is, the best you’re gonna get is “punishing traitors”. They can’t tell you everything just yet

But just that gives you the gist of what they do, leaving you to imagine what they aren’t telling you

i have a lot of headcanons i wanna get out there so here it is

General DJD headcanons

Well first of all Tesarus definitely has some sort of attention disorder, probably ADD

He’s also very sarcastic, but when it comes to someone else being sarcastic to him he has a hard time understanding.

Tesarus just takes things very literally

That’s also why he and Helex are such good friends. He kind of looks to Helex to help him out if he doesn’t know when someone is being sarcastic or not.

Tesarus can sleep anywhere at any time. The DJD have found him and Vos passed out just about everywhere.

Same for Helex and Vos, though with Helex, Vos likes to recharge in the smelter

Helex likes to freak out people by making vore jokes and at this point the DJD doesn’t know if he’s joking anymore

Kaon is the only one who takes the time to clean himself after hunts.

In my human s/o hcs I said he would go straight to his s/o to tell them all about the hunts. That still stands, but he really only does that for exciting hunts. He at least tries to clean up a bit after an average one

When no one knows where Vos is, everyone is on high alert. Why? Because that means he’s hiding in the vents somewhere and he’s planning to jump on someone’s head to scare the fuck out of them

He does this because he’s bored. And usually if he’s not hunting, he’s bored.

Tarn likes to have one-on-one days with each of the members. It’s canon that they do trust exercises, so I think they also do bonding activities

Whether that be playing a card game as a group, or going in pairs to a bar, Tarn makes sure that everyone is comfortable with everyone

Nickel tags along sometimes. She claims it’s because they’re all stupid and someone is sure to get hurt, but she really just cares about them

Nickel is just very “tough love”. She yells at Ted for not sharpening his blades because if they were to get damaged, he would be in pain.

She nags at Helex to clean his mouth because she doesn’t want him to get an infection, or to get sick

She tells everyone to clean off after hunts because Primus knows what vermin that smell could attract

Nickel just cares about them. It becomes increasingly obvious when anyone get seriously injured. She’s much more lenient and gentle with them, and more pushy to the others to do so as well.

Tesarus’s blender is very sensitive. Not that touching it will hurt, but he knows everything that goes on in there.

Helex, on the other hand, is very oblivious to anything that goes on in his smelter.

He’s found Vos recharging in it before, and he has no idea when Vos got in there.

Everyone has carried Vos around at some point or another. Including Nickel (not by her own will, of course. Vos more or less leaped into he arms)

Vos’s favourite places are Helex’s smelter and Tarn’s shoulders.
