This is a part of a series on the rising signs not necessarily in Zodiacal order.

Shout-out to my Taurus rising dad, a revolutionary.

Tauruses are stereotyped as lazy, indulgent, shallow and only about money money money. This is a shallow pop astro interpretation. Taurus is the hierophant in tarot, the cleric, the guide. There is a very malefic star in taurus which is Algol. At its best this star makes you a champion of women's rights and the oppressed. At its worst it shows up in misogynistic men with the "Madonna-wh*re complex".

Taurus risings wish for one thing, it is legacy, as they have aquarius in the 10th house and aquarius is what you wish for. But in order to establish a legacy you have to get out of your comfort zone, innovate, do revolutionary stuff, think outside the box, have an adventurous spirit. Before the 10th house you have to get into the 9th house. Tauruses find it hard to do that.

They struggle with 9th house stuff as they have capricorn there (restriction) and they do not like to get out of their comfort zone, try new things, be open minded etc as they value comfort too much.

Venus rules 1h and 6h for them. They want to stick to the same routine (6h). Libra in 6h, Libra/Venus isn't find of change and 6h is routine. But how are they going to achieve the legacy they want? This way they remain stuck in the same rut, and then the pop astro stereotype becomes true - they become lazy and indulgent etc. They become selfish - their ruler Venus debilitates in the 5th house in Virgo, the house of indulgence in pleasures and ego.

But Venus exalts in pisces in their 11th house of community so not only they can establish the legacy they want but also become revolutionaries, heroes and leaders of their community if they step out of the comfort zone and put the ego aside.

They have sagittarius in the 8th house so they transform their lives (8h) as soon as they leave their comfort zone and start an adventure (sagittarius stuff). So Tauruses lead the masses after they first lead themselves out of the comfort zone.

Mars rules their 7h as well as 12h. For day charts especially this can be damaging to relationships, depends on overall condition of Mars and Venus too cause Tauruses are ruled by the planet of relationships herself. They might get into relationships with people who secretly dislike them, objectify them or treat them like property. Their 7h ruler exalts in 9h in capricorn so getting out of their comfort zone can also improve their relationships.

Just saw a kind of pattern while I was working on one of my upcoming posts. Please let me know what do you all think. I can be wrong but I feel like many might agree with me? Idk.

So, I think the sign in your third house is the sign that others assume is your rising sign or sun sign or is just prominent in your chart.

Like for example let's say, you are a cancer rising but you get mistaken for a virgo rising. Or you are a scorpio rising and you get mistaken for a capricorn rising.

Because you know, third house is the house of communication. People usually tend to observe others while they are communicating with them. And the sign in your third house is the way you communicate with people.

TaurusRisings seem to so be sure of themselves, in a way. they’re practical andwhenever i’m near one i have this impression that their energy is huge andsolid. it moves slowly, but cannot be stopped. in this sense, they’re usuallyvery determined (or stubborn) and very physical about things, as they tend toattach emotionally with things and people that provide them a sense of comfortor security. eventually, this attachment can become detrimental. moreover, theyare usually proud of how efficient or resourceful they can be as individuals, and this couldmean that they can be too work or performance-oriented (if they’re not on the indulging mode). this perspective iseven strengthened by the fact that they tend to love material comfort, so theycan be constantly working for the money that will provide these material goods.
