Hello. My name’s Mariana, I’m 21 years old and a lover of astrology. I’ve been studying it since I was a pre teen and while I don’t consider myself a professional astrologer I try and educate myself as much as I can.

My observations belong to tropical and I don’t really understand Vedic but I respect those that practice it. Not fully into Hellenistic but find it really useful.

Summary of my chart if you’re interested:

Sagittarius stellium individuals. Through their darkest times, Jupiter expands and provides an exceptionally hopeful mindset. They're naive at times, being unrealistically optimistic about their problems being superficial.

Pisces venus. Here's the trick: they're dreamy and yearn for a fantasy, but once fantasy crashes against who they settle for, they're startled. But a pisces venus is often insecure, so, in rebuttal to be alone, they stay silent, becoming a untouchable figure in their own relationship. They turn into the water that escapes one's hands when trying to calm a thirst.

Neptune in the 1st house. For most of their life, they struggle with who they are–who they're meant to be. Identity is blurry, mixing itself with the opinion from outsides who try to classify the native in specific roles. To live, neptune in the 1st house people must liberate themselves from others, quietly choosing to live in brief solitude to be able to endure the expectations of others.

Cancer venus/Venus conjunct Moon. They are soft, tender, loving and intense. Comfort is key for their well-being, as they don't enjoy trying anything that seems to be new and with the potential to mold them once more, as their lovers have done before. And they have. They're plagued by nostalgia, allowing memories to shape how they act and look. Often, they may wear old lovers jumpers, hoodies, or sleep with an old plushie given by them.

Ironic Astrology Things

For folks interested in astrology/astrologers, what’s something that you’ve seen or experienced that became ironic once you saw the astrology behind it?

For me there were a couple of incidents:

- One NN synastry (NN x sun) ending in sour terms and partner B (the north node person) becoming a lot like like partner A years later.

- A rebound relationship with a solar after being with a saturnian.

- Someone having an Aries midheaven while their grandpa was an Aries sun and later becoming the living image of their grandpa.

- Person A feeling only understood by person B and being unable to completely let go of them due to “good memories”. Strong 5th house synastry while both of them were 7th house dominant individuals.

- Someone saying their new partner was better than their ex. Their new partner and ex were opposite signs (Leo/Aquarius) and had a lot of similar qualities!

Ascendant Notes II

– Leo risings are loud and shine with the radiance of the sun. I genuinely believe not even a Leo dominant could be capable of mimicking the natural shine they have. They’re the ones that don’t have to ask or act for attention, as it comes to them no matter what they do.

– I always warn Taurus risings about being overly materialistic. It’s a common stereotype within them but there’s truth to it. They focus on beauty and representing said beauty too much, placing a lot of worth on what they can get for it.

– There’s a weirdness to Aquarius risings that’s evident for those that know them. They may use out of date glasses with that quirky haircut and have a very specific way of dressing. They tend to follow trends before they even exist, leaving them once they get popular.

– Those that reject astrology usually have a specific zodiac sign they dislike, which is always their rising sign. This is because they’re unevolved as people and lack self awareness–they’re rejecting their very own features after all.

– You think you have a savior complex? Meet Libra risings. They may appear to avoid conflict but they feel attracted to those that generate conflict (Aries in the 7th house) so they end in a cycle.

– Scorpio risings struggle with boundaries once they’re in love with someone. Pisces is in their 5th house which translates to them giving absolutely everything to their partner with no restrictions. More commonly than not they’re left by their partner.

– Sagittarius risings are public speakers by nature. They spend their time alone analyzing information only to share their thoughts with their community. They love attention.

Moon square Mars individuals are often quick to anger and let their emotions devour their control once they feel crossed. They’re attractive, seductive and a red flag that most feel attracted to, but their irregular nature makes it hard to establish a relationship with them. People with this placement find it hard to master and channel their feelings kindly, usually living in the edge during the early years of their life. Emotions are usually shown in little and unhealthy ways, Mars making the Moon feel uneasy. They’re prone to using sex as a way to release tension and being extra demanding.

Ascendant Notes I

- Usually during the early years of your life you’ll constantly meet with people that embody the energy of your rising sign. This will stop once you master and learn to embrace the energy of your ascendant.

- Gemini risings are secretive and timid when sharing and being intimate with others. They take it very seriously, blame their 8th house Capricorn.

- Aries risings love socializing with others without having to settle in a certain group or cliché.

– Cancer risings desire something that fills them but also challenges them enormously. Their Capricorn descendant makes them feel attracted towards people that can take care of them in a trustworthy way but Scorpio in the 5th house creates a pull towards what they deem fun and intense.

– Virgo risings are only people pleasers because they believe they can be whoever people need them to be.

– I’ve noticed that Pisces risings commonly have clear eyes. Whenever they have green or blue eyes it’s always in a pale clear way, makes you feel like they’re observing you quietly.

– Capricorn risings don’t shy away from the spotlight. They don’t necessarily love the attention but they aren’t afraid of being the face of a project or being the one to address the waiter when they get their order wrong while everyone else is too afraid to do so.

- People who lack air placements may be conservative and fixated on their own ideas. Individuals struggle exploring more than they know and lack objectivity.

– Moon square mars is an extremely tough placement to have. Anger is shown in an extreme way and more often than not it can become destructive. Emotions are repressed until they explode and harm others.

– If Venus is in Pisces it may showcase someone who pursues a fantasy and later becomes bored of it (doesn’t fulfill what they thought it would be like)

– 9th house synastry is one where you’ll learn to let go of control and be introduced to things you didn’t know before. It’s an experience you’ll never get twice.

– If you have Pluto in the 12th house there’s a huge chance there was a lost in your family before your mom was pregnant or before you were born.

– Cancer moons/mars are extremely vengeful. If they feel you’ve crossed them they’ll stick with it and try to destroy you over and over again until they feel you’ve learned your lesson. They believe they’re always the victim, so no matter what you say they’ll keep seeing you as their enemy.

– Between both mercurial risings, Virgo risings are better at communicating what needs to be said. Gemini risings, on the other hand, are better at engaging with an audience and keeping their attention.

– The degrees of your placements matter more than you think. If you’re a Virgo venus with a 9th degree you’ll be picky choosing your lovers and struggle with romance as a whole due to own insecurities but stick with foreign lovers and find beauty in imported things. This is because the 9th degree carries Sagittarius energy.
