Love Like a Bike - DindinTawan Ep. 6
Dindin and Tawan are such little freaks. Of course they get into a fight with a bunch of thugs and then pause mid–first aid to have sex on the table while grandma’s asleep upstairs. Completely on brand.
exactly hahah
Look, Gaga subtitlers, I get the jokes but this makes a lot of sense. This is not a bizarre throwback. It makes a lot of sense, honestly. Because Tawan has basically never go of this guilt and has just barely been keeping his head above water and everyone knows that.
But only Dindin could say it to his face. Only Dindin could also give him permission to be feel guilty forever while telling him to forgive himself for the people around him who love him if not for himself.
(And then Tawan just vanishes without talking to Dindin which is ALSO deeply accurate to his characterization.)
I really wish I could empathize with Tawan, but he is too annoying. He is hurting from a past event, but the way he deals with everyone is clearly not the right way. He is too angry, too highly strung and he judges people too fast. He is the one who should also get therapy. Dindin isn't perfect, but he isn't really doing bad things. He is trying a lot to do his job well. At first, I thought he wouldn't be that good at doing his job, but he does his part. Only Tawan is always meddling and being overly aggressive with him. I felt bad for Dindin during this scene because it's true that money is so important for him that he can't risk to lose it. Isn't it too sad to hear someone tells you they would rather get punched than losing a part of their salary? I hope Tawan will soon start to understand Dindin more and stop being so judgmental.
I think I’m definitely gonna like Love Like a Bike…I just hope it doesn’t end up being like Lover Merman and pissing me off at the tail end (haha pun intended). Let’s be honest, I’m mainly here for Ta and Us so as long as I get ample amounts of them, I’m prolly gonna be okay.
Dindin and Tawan starting out literally fighting and then sex on the graffiti’d concrete two seconds later had me snorting! The award for least comfortable one night stand goes to them!! Hands down!
I’m very curious about Sailom’s past though and the trauma that’s shaped him. Was the person in his flashback the dad he’d just wished safe travels to?
We didn’t see any of the third brother in this ep at all and there’s only 8 eps. Hopefully they all get equal screentime.
I am mildly confused about the preview for the next ep where Dindin and Tawan are in the kitchen. The debt collectors mentioned Dindin having a bakery so I assumed he would know what he’s doing but Tawan was acting like he was doing it wrong. So now I’m curious about that. But I’m stupidly ready for some forced proximity with the one night stand from them so let’s fucking go!!!
IMMEDIATELY FUCKING AT A SKATE PARK IN PUBLIC???????
Tawan was desperate for that kiss
