Can I ask for a pokemon team and a partner as well? I’m an INTP, or a logician. My best traits are that I’m pretty good at reading emotions, or figuring people out. I’m very sympathetic and easy to talk to. I’m not very empathetic though, I don’t give my own emotions away. I’m overly chill/apathetic about most problems and it offends people sometimes. I like to prod and poke people for information or a reaction. Learning about people and people watching is exciting for me. I’m taurus and I’m as stubborn as they say they are. I won’t stop arguing for my point even if I know I’m wrong. I’ll often disagree with people to disagree with people. I really like the ocean, chocolate, sleep, and learning. I hate monkeys and apes and that’s about it. Thank you!
Hello~ This one took me a little longer to think about, but I think I have a decent team.
♡ Your partner is Slowking! Slowking is known for being extraordinarily intelligent, especially compared to most other pokemon. It’s also intellectually inclined, enjoying anything that helps it exercise its mind. Slowking has retained certain traits from its time as Slowpoke, too. It’s relaxed & even apathetic by default. It can study anything & anyone around it with great precision pretty easily. However, it is prone to “disconnecting” from its environment if nothing engaging is going on, which it is actually quite happy with. It doesn’t really mind spending most of its time within its own head, or even reading books etc... it has found. Slowking can be friendly & cordial like a human & can even learn human speech, but it is not exactly emotionally in-tune. It can sometimes put others off by being blunt & nonchalant. Being generally friendly, it still enjoys socializing. It will get into debates for the sake of debating, especially with other pokemon like Oranguru when humans aren’t around. Unlike Oranguru, fierce debates won’t spark rivalry or competitiveness in Slowking. Slowking is just there for a good time. Other pass times include sleeping, being close to the water & eating good food. You two sound like perfect partners!
♡ Mime Jr. also has exceptional skills in observing & understanding other people. Unlike Slowking & perhaps yourself, Mime Jr. is very in tune with the emotional sphere. It learns via emotions, not intellect. You could learn a great deal from this baby-pokemon, and it will surely learn a lot about you & everything else it absorbs. Mime Jr. is easier to care for than other baby-pokemon because it learns extremely quickly, but it still requires guidance. It can pick up potentially inappropriate behavior on accident & can be unaware of social queues + behavioral meaning at first. Mime Jr. will enjoy being with a trainer that either lives a relatively social life, or just being with a trainer with a full team. This is a pokemon that might dislike being in its pokeball too much, as it wants to absorb as much emotional energy & information as possible. It is also energetic! It usually isn’t very GOOD at mimicking, but it is a hard worker.
♡ Mudbray is pretty simplistic with its personality. It is stubborn & doesn’t budge from its stance, both literally & metaphorically. It is extremely strong & durable, especially given its small size. Mudbray is easy to please. Just give it some (clean) mud to play in, and it will be happy. Mudbray likes life in the slower lane & is placid/content most of the time. It is pretty difficult to truly bother Mudbray when healthy & properly taken care of. But it can give one heck of a kick when it does become unhappy!
♡ Noctowl is another intellectually inclined pokemon. Although not quite cerebral & human-like as Slowking, as it is more based on instinct. The positions of its head are signs of how Noctowl is feeling & what it’s thinking. Just watch for when its head goes upside down, as this means Noctowl is being troubled by something. Noctowl’s intellect mainly helps it with finding+catching prey. Being nocturnal, it sleeps most of the day.
♡ Lombre is called the Jolly pokemon, but you wouldn’t think of it as Jolly first glance! It actually looks & acts quite sullen & lowkey most of the time. However, it has a playful & mischievous spirit. It loves having fun, playing tricks & messing with people just because. It especially loves scaring people & getting reactions. It is good natured, though. So these tricks are never harmful or overly mean. It is also nocturnal like Noctowl, although it does love sleeping in the sun. Lombre does not like to be dry, so make sure it doesn’t lose too much moisture when away from water.
♡ Croagunk is a mild & chill Pokemon. It can be a little off-putting to some, since it does have strong poisons it can use very effectively. It is stubborn & does what it wants when it wants. Since it’s lazy, it usually doesn’t actually do that much though! Ironically, it gets bored easily & is always looking for ways to entertain itself in anyway possible. Croagunk doesn’t show its emotions outwardly too much, but it can be capable of forming strong connections to their trainers very quickly, some being outright affectionate. Croagunk will get along especially well with Lombre.
