Jaune: (Turns to Oscar With a Smile) It never fails to put a smile on my face so far.
Nora/Pyrrha: BOYS!~ (Rushes Over and Hugs Their Boyfriend and Son Together)
Pyrrha: We're so happy to see two back home safe~ (Gives Oscar a Kiss on the Cheek Before Giving Jaune a Nice, Loving One on the Lips)
Nora: Which makes our family complete once again~ (Gives Jaune a Loving Kiss on the Lips Before Performing Rapid-Fire Ones Upon Oscar's Freckled Cheek)
Oscar: (Chuckles Ticklishly by His Thunder Mom's Kisses) Nora, we've only been gone for like two and a half hours- Relax!~
Nora: Nope! ('Mwah') Don't care! ('Mwah') It was too long of a wait! ('Mwah') Your Momma Pyrrha and I misses you like crazy!!~ ('Mwah Mwaaah')

Oscar: Seriously- (Continues Chuckling Due to his Mothers' Now Resuming Kisses Upon Him) I had plans today!~
Nora/Pyrrha: TOO BAD!~
Ren: (Walks Over to Jaune While Wearing his All New "Do Not Distrub the Cook" Apron) They're weren't entirely kidding. It took me nearly a half an hour to get Nora to sit and calm down.
Jaune: (Turns to His Boyfriend with a Smirk) Le t me guess: A stack of flapjacks?
Ren: A stack of strawberry flapjacks to be exact. She's been having craving for them all this week now, remember?
Jaune: Right, right. (Leans Up a Bit to Give Ren a Kiss on the Lips Too) I sure hope you didn't missed us too badly as well, Ren-Ren~
Ren: (Smirks Back at his Boyfriend a Bit) Hmm I did to some extent~ But I figured the mission wasn't too hectic for you and Oscar to handle out there- (Raises an Eyebrow) Was it?
Jaune: (Snickers a Bit) Nah, it was another cakewalk. But you guys won't believe who we bumped into on our way there
Ren: Is it someone we all know?
Jaune: You guessed it! From our academy days: Cardin.
Nora/Pyrrha: (Suddenly Stops Smothering Oscar as Their Eyes Widens to What Jaune Just Said) Cardin?
Ren: As in..Cardin Winchester?
Pyrrha: (Raises an Eyebrow at Jaune) The same Cardin that bullied you years back?
Nora: The same Cardin I still wanna break his legs to this DAY!? (Angrily Pounds her Fist into the Palm of her Hand)
Jaune: (Chuckles Awkwardly) Y-Y-Yeah, the very same......(Quickly Shakes his Hands in Front of his Face) B-But trust me! He's not the same conniving jerk he was back then. If anything, he ...Changed quite a lot since we've last saw him.
Pyrrha: (Squints her Eyes a Bit) Is that right?
Jaune: I know, it's skeptical to believe and I don't blame any of you for it one bit, but just hear me out here, will you?
Pyrrha: (Stares at Jaune For a Brief Second Before Sighing) Oh alright. Give us every detail you have~ (Gives Jaune Another Kiss on The Cheek) From the top, my love~
Jaune: (Smiles Brightly) You got it, ma'am!~ Okay, so, Oscar and I arrived at local woods, help fighting off three of those Grimm Bears roaming around area for a good while now.....
Flashback to the Woods........
Jaune is seen guarding the evacuating citizens while using his sword to fight off the first grizzly bear Grimm for a short while before delivering a swift, clean slash of his sword, straight to it's upper body before disparaging into black mist.
Meanwhile, Oscar is dodging the second bear's claws and melee attacks effortlessly until a single palm strike hurled him back towards a nearby tree. As the bear tries to attack him, Oscar quickly moves himself out of the way, prompting it's claw to get stuck within the wood. Before it could even think about using his other claw to try and attack, Oscar ducks down and uses his cane to struck a hard, electric hitting blow straight to the leg, instantly causing the Grimm to fall down on it's knee. The farm boy then proceeds to flip onto and over the bear's back and delivers the final blow by using his custom made gun to blast it away to kingdom come-
Nora: (Turns Back to Oscar with a Very Surpised Look on her Face) Oscar...A-Am I hearing this right- D-Did you....BROKE that Grinm's leg earlier?
Oscar: Ehhh... kinda? I think I only shattered his nervous system when it least expected. (Grabs his Chin While Remembering the Incident) Then again, I did heard the sound of a bone cracking for a brief second there-
The sudden sounds of sniffling catches Oscar's attention as he notices the tears beginning to build up onto Nora's aqua green eyes.
Oscar: Uh....Nora?
Jaune: Hoo boy.
Nora: MY BABY'S VERY FIRST LEGS BREAKING!!~ (Immediately Pulls Oscar into a Very Tight and Loving Momma Bear Hug)
Oscar: (Winces a Bit) Gah! Nora! Too tight!
Ren: ('Sigh') I never thought I would see the day...
Pyrrha: (Happily Clasps her Hands Together) Like mother, like son~
Nora: (Starts Swinging Oscar From Side to Side a Bit) Oooooh!~ If only I was there to witness this beautiful moment!~ (Starts Kissing Oscar's Cheeks Again)
Oscar: Your scroll would actually blow up woth the million pictures you would've taken
Nora: And I wouldn't have any regrets whatever~ (Comically Glares at her Fearless Leader and Boyfriend) Jaune! Why the heck didn't you capture that beautiful moment on photo earlier!?
Jaune: (Rolls his Eyes a Bit) Was fighting for mines and the civilians' lives at the moment, Nora. That's what you get for not coming along.
Nora: Well, excuuuse me if I wanted to stay and kick back woth the rest of our hunnies amd their delicious flapjacks! (Sighs While Shrugging) No matter- (Smiles Brightly) Cuz next time, Momma Nora's definitely gonna do the next mission with her precious farm son fighting by her side!~
Oscar: While I keep us outta any form of trouble we'll end up coming across.
Pyrrha: (Happily Raises Her Hand) Ooh! Can I tag along as well? I could go for a one more adrenaline rush before July wraps up for the year.
Nora: (Turns to her Girlfriend) The more the merrier, 'hon~ We can even get Glynda to join us if she's free.
Pyrrha: Another perfect Mother-Son Bonding Experience!~ (Turns to her Son) Does that sound like a plan to you too, Oscar?
Oscar: Alright, but you three gotta try and dial back on the coddling a smidge.
Ren: I thought you've grown fond of their motherly affections more recently
Oscar: I have!.....(Start Blushing a Bit) In the comforts of our own home and privacy....
Pyrrha: (Happily Joins in on the Oscar Hugfest) We'll try and tone down our doting, just for your, sweetheart.
Nora: And if anyone has a problem with that will have only me to answer to! They'll listen.
Oscar: (Chuckles Lightly) Or runaway with their legs still attached! (Smiles Softly) Thanks, girls. (Gives Both his Mom Figures Each a Kiss on Their Cheeks)
Pyrrha/Nora: Anytime, honey!~ (Gives Oscar Kiss on Both his Cheeks Simultaneously)
Jaune: ('Sigh') I have a such sweet family. Now, can I please continue on happen today already?
Nora: Sure!

Jaune: (Simply Nodded) Thank you.

??????: (Seen Trying to Fend Off the Last Bear Grimm Slowly Approaching Him) Back! Back away from me and this tree here, furball! (Grips the Long Stick He's Been Holding) I have this stick here that I ain't afraid to use! .....Less you uh- (Let's Out a Nervous Sounding Chuckle) Snatch it away from me.
Bear Grimm: ('Growls')
Jaune: (Quickly Rushes Over to the Ranger ad the Grimm) Don't worry, sir! Help is right he- Wait. (Eyes Widens at the Ranger in Particular) Cardin!?
Cardin: (Eyes Widens Back at his Rescuer) Jaune!? Is that you with that haircut?
Jaune: ('Sighs Heavily') Yep, it's me. With a banana cut- Nora's words. Hey, you think we could talk more after I handle this Grimm problem first?
Cardin: Oh, yeah, for sure. In fact, let me help you out a bit there.
Cardin uses his stick to quickly ickly poke one of the Bear Grimm's eye, causing it to quickly cover his own face and let out a pain induced roar.
Cardin: (Gives Jaune a Thumbs Up and a Grin) Alright, he's all yours now!
Jaune: (Genuinely Surprised To See Cardin of All People, Willingly Helping Him Out Right Now) Uhh- Oh! R-Right! (Takes Down the Last Grimm Bear With a Single Slice Before Letting Out a Sigh of Relief) Okay, that should be all of them now....(Turns to Oscar in the Mid Distance) Right, bud?
Oscar gives Jaune a thumbs up while being carried around by the cheering civilians surrounding him.
Jaune: (Chuckles Lightly) Yep, we're in the clear alright.
Cardin: (Walks Up to Old Classmate) That kid's your huntsmen partner?
Jaune: (Turns to Cardin) More or less. (Smiles Proudly and Fondly) He's also our pride, joy, and one of the main reasons why we wake up every morning.
Cardin: (Chuckles Lightly) Well, look at you being a proud dad~
Jaune: Trust me, Cardin, being proud doesn't begin to describe all the love and admiration I have for that kid. I'd do anything for him.
Cardin: That's great to hear. So how Nora, Ren, and Pyrrha have been? I take it they've been doing well these days too?
Jaune: Oh yeah, they all are doing great. We've been so much together over the years that we started becoming real close through it all. (Begins to Blush) S-So close in fact we've eventually became a lot....more than just a team, if you catch my drift~
Cardin: (Grabs his Chin While Smirking) Ahh~ I got what you're saying. You have my congrats.
Jaune: Thanks. B-But enough about me for now. You're a forest ranger now?
Cardin: (Immediately Salutes to Jaune) Forest Ranger/Camp Counselor Cardin Winchester, at your service, sir! (Eases his Posture While Letting Out a Single Chuckle) I'd so nailed that line perfectly there.
Jaune: (That sure was something alright.) So this is what you've been doing this whole time? Watching 9ver forest?
Cardin: (Shrugs) Yeah, more or less. I started out as assistant lieutenant in training to the previous ranger a while back. It was hell to go through from the very start and I kept getting humbled wayyy too many times for me to count, but I've managed to pull through for the most part- (Looks Down at his Golden Badge) I wouldn't be half the man and ranger I am now if I just quit halfway.
Jaune: (Smiles Brightly) That's great, Cardin. Your folks back home would be proud.
Cardin: (Shrugs) Eh. I don't think they would care all that much, let alone care about what I'm up to these days, to be frank.
Jaune: (Frowns a Bit) They wouldn't?
Cardin: Nope. I had thus huge argument with them after the day Beacon crumbled. Can't say i exactly remembered what was it all about, but i do know it ended with them kicking me out of the house at night. Never saw or even heard from them ever since, so you could probably say they've disowned me a long time ago.
Jaune: (Couldn't Believe What He Just Heard) Oh God...But what about your old teammates from the academy? Do you still talk to them at least?
Cardin: Not anymore I don't. We went our seperate ways the same day I was kicked out, which to be fair, was for the best anyways considering we've been complete assholes to one another nonstop
Jaune: And to other people, me included.
Cardin: ('Sigh') Yeah, especially to you guys. But as bad as it all sounds, being all on my own was actually the best thing for me. It helped me improved a lot of myself that I didn't think I needed up until now. It was time for me to grow up- (Chuckles Lightly) And believe you and me, it was long overdue, huh?
Jaune: (Chuckles Lightly) You could say that again.(Looks Around at the Forest) But considering how beautiful this place looks, I saythat you're doing a pretty good job looking after it so far.
Cardin: Thanks, man. It means a lot hearing that from you.
Jaune: Really?
Cardin: Yeah. You were and still are, always the better man in comparison, especially after catching wind of you and your friends risk your lives trying to stop that crazy Salem lady and save our world a few times on the news. You proved yourself to be the hero you wanted to be, Jaune Arc, and it's all the more reason why I want to apologize for all the crap I put you through in the past. (Frowns a Bit) All the teasings, the blackmail......You didn't deserve any of that crap and I definitely should've known better.
Jaune takes another, more better look at Cardin Winchester in front of him. Despite looking the very same as he last saw him, he can now tell that this is no longer the same conniving jerk he once was back in the academy, all those years ago. He became a changed man. A man that......The blonde huntsman don't have it in him to dislike anymore.
Jaune: (Smiles Softly) Thank you, Cardin. But there's really no need to make a big fuss for something that happened all those years ago.
Cardin: You sure?
Jaune: Yeah, man, it's all in the past. A real dumb, sucky one, but still one we could both forget about now that we're more older and mature these days, don't you think?
Cardin: (Simply Nodded in Agreement) True that. Hell, I'm more than willing to have us both start all over if you're up for it.
Jaune: You know what? That doesn't sound like a bad idea at all. I'll start. (Happily Reach his Hand Out in Front of Cardin) Hey there. I'm Jaune Arc, a full-fledged huntsman. Nice to meet ya.
Cardin: (Happily and Firmly Shakes Jaune's Hand) Likewise. The name's Cardin. Cardin Winchester. The protector of this neck of the woods- (Suddenly Salutes to Jaune Again) Sir!....(Starts Snickering) That was a force of habit there. Sorry.
Jaune: (Chuckles Again) At ease, soldier. You did nothing wrong at all. And as far as I'm concerned, I think we're gonna get along just fine.
Cardin: Agreed.
End of Flashback. Again.
Jaune: Then after that, he took Oscar and I out to a smoothie place nearby and talk some more for a birt before heading back home. Needless to say, he's officially a friend of mine as we speak right now.
Ren: (Smiles Softly) And we couldn't be any happier for the both of you right now, Jaune.
Nora: (Happily Nodded in Agreement) Yeah, it's already a start of a beautiful friendship~ I still will break his legs and kneecaps if he ever thinks about stepping out of line.
Jaune: Oh yeah, I warned him about you guys and he promised you all ten folds that he'll treat me a lot better from here on out.
Nora: (Crosses her Arms While Pouting) ('Hmph') He better behave himself this time or there will be major trouble come running his ranger butt.
Oscar: Let me guess: You?
Nora: (Went Back to Smiling Again) You know it! And when that happens, I want you to come along with me.
Oscar: (Eyes Begins to Widened) Wait what!? Why me?
Nora: Why not? We're a mother and son duo! You and me against this convoluted world, remember?
Oscar: Crap, I did say that to you, didn't I?
Nora: When we were both at our very lowest, yes. Hold those words very dear to this very day, you know?
Oscar: And I'm very happy to hear that. But there's no way I'm helping you break your former bully's legs and/or kneecaps.
Nora: Honey, I only want you be there to stop me if things ever go south, which would probably, kinda, more or less happen in hindsight.
Ren: (Raises an Eyebrow at Nora) Probably?
Jaune/Pyrrha: Kinda?
Oscar: More or less?
Nora: ('Groans in Defeat') Fiiine! It'll most likely happen on a whim and I'mma need someone to be the good cop to my wild, bad cop. (Gives Oscar the Sad Puppy Dog Eyes) And I can't think of anyone else would fit the bill perfectly than you can, sweetie~ Pretty please?~ (Starts Whimpering a Bit)
Oscar: ('Sighs in Defeat') Alright. Guess I'll be your partner in potential crime as well- Then!? (Suddenly Gets Pulled into Yet Another Loving Hug)
Nora: Thanks a bunch, partner!~ I love you~
Oscar: (Rolls his Eyes a Bit) Yeah, yeah, love you too, bad cop.
Jaune: (Chuckles a Bit at Oscar ND Nora's Antics Before Turning Over to Pyrrha) So what do you think about all of this, Pyrrha? I know you have the most lowest opinions about him out of all of us here.
Pyrrha: ('Sigh') Like you won't believe. Don't even get me started on how I feel about everyone else his team and their fashion sense.....
Oscar: (Turns to Pyrrha) You really hated that guy back then, didn't you?
Pyrrha: Oh Oscar, hate is such a strong word in my vocabulary. Detest and loathe are much more fitting to how I feel about him.

Nora: (Quickly Covers Oscar's Mouth) Nononono, don't correct her on this one, Oscar. Not when the anger she has for him is still on an all time high.

Pyrrha: (Giggles a Bit) I'm sure, Nora, honest. While, yes, I am still, very much, skeptical of him, I am also a firm believer that everyone in this world have the capability and servitude to change and improve themselves for the better. So it's sounds to me that Cardin fits the bills perfectly I'm that regardless.
Jaune: So does this mean you won't mind me being friends with him from here on out?
Pyrrha: (Hugs Jaune Lovingly) Not at all, my love. (Forms a Dark Smile on her Face) But please, do know that if he ever DOES try anything foolish towards you, his legs won't be the only thing he'll need to worry breaking on my end.

The Crowd: (Stops Yelling and Pays Oscar a Must Needed Attention)

Random Neighbor: We were just waiting for some candy. (Turns at Pyrrha) Bring out THE CANDY!!
Sun: Yeah, lady!! Bring out the CANDY!!

Crowd: YEAH!!
Oscar: (Glares at Sun and Neptune) Guys.

Pyrrha: (Heart Begins to Melt in Happiness at the Farm Boi Doing his Best to Defend her)
Oscar: I mean, look at her! She's a complete mess! Messy hair, bags under her eyes, chocolate on her face and apron-

Neptune: That's right! You don't have to go home, BUT YOU CAN'T STAY HERE!!! (Walks in the House As Well and Close the Door Behind Him)
Sun: (Makes his way to a Tray of Chocolate Candy) Honestly. Can you believe those guys?
Neptune: (Follows Sun) I know, right? So rude!
Sun/Neptune: (Takes One Candy Each out of the Tray and Eats Them)

Oscar: (Raising an Eyebrow in Disbelief) Guys, you.... didn't even try them yet. Heck, I'm still not even sure if they'll be half as good as Ruby's dad's are.
Nora: (Pulls Oscar In to a Loving Hug) Don't say that, sweetie!! ('Sniff') I promise we'll all love them. ('Sniff') Just as much as we love you!
Oscar: (Sighs as He Gives Nora A Kiss on the Cheek) I love you guys too. Just take as much time as you need to relax and calm yourselves before trying them out, 'kay?

Oscar: (Taken Aback from the Surprising Hug and kiss) R-Really?
Ren: (Nodded Sincerely) Definitely. (Made his to Nora and Oscar to join in on the hug) You were always important to each and every one of us the moment we met each other.
