invited all my pride boardies and team lead folks over for one last friendly get-together before we dive headfirst into too much pizza (aaalways pizza), lack of sleep (moreso than usual), glitter (by the bucket-loads), and constant praying to the weather gods (say it with me, "warmth and sunshine").

it was a wonderful day of solid quality time spent with a lovely, vibrant, dynamic group of individuals. there was also lots of colourful foods (what can i say, i like themes). and it was really just sort of magical. i feel truly fortunate to know these people.

rainbow waffles (vegan, refined sugar-free) (tutorial here) cheezecake bites, topped with assorted jams (vegan, refined sugar-free) mac ‘n cheeze (vegan) collard wraps (vegan, gf) (wrapping technique here) samosa muffins (vegan, gf) mango guacomole (vegan, gf) (four avocados mashed with lemon and lime juices, garlic powder, pink himalayan salt, black pepper, and a pinch of chili powder. one mango, roughly chopped and mixed in.) birthday cake popcorn (aaaaall the artifical sugars) pierogies (vegan) (revisited this recipe, but swapped in a dairy-free sour cream and a flax egg, and pan-fried in earth balance vegan butter)

pulled pork (not pictured, but slow-cooked in root beer and then tossed in onion chipotle bbq sauce and additional root beer)
