It always bothered me that Hook not only shot but HIT Belle. And the lack of acknowledgement has always dimmed my joy in their friendship. I'm so pleased they finally remedied that! His honest remorse and knowing he can't just be magically absolved is perf. Particularly because he's going beyond words and using ACTIONS of atonement.

It’s no secret that Captain Book BroTP comes second only to Captain Charming, but I love that scene so much.

I mean, don’t get me wrong - I love seeing the actions, I really do.  But so many shows just completely ignore the value of of a genuine verbal apology.  So I really love it when they actually make it happen.

Have you tried 7/11 breathing? In through your nose for 7 seconds, out of your mouth for 11, repeat as needed. It's my go-to calming tactic when I'm anxious (especially at work). As for nice things: it's thunderstormed 4 times within the last week here in Kansas and it's been lovely and calming and good for the greenery. I hope wherever you are, the weather is as you wish it. :)

right?? my coworkers came to my defense thank god. they’re both super dressy all the time, and they love that i’m a nerdy tomboy type and hate that my boss is trying to change that
