Itchy: Father, Is this really temporary?

Sylex (Synapse): Of course it is. You don't have to worry about it. It's only a mishap.

Sylex (Alex): You can trust us, Itchy! This guy -points to themselves- help us before!

Itchy: Uh...But you look like a monster.

Sylex (Synapse): Nonsense. Magus said it's a side effect of his project or for short, fusion. In fact, I was involved with it when he first started it and it's the same result but smaller.

Itchy: I see. But you're happy to be with this verigreen in your body?

Sylex (Synapse): Positive!

Man, this is the longest drawing I've done on Colors Live, So far.

Itchy, discovers in shock to see Sylex (A fusion of Alex and Synapse) who greet them with a hug. Itchy had also escaped the blast that Magus caused like Max and Kopius.

Fusion Katastrophe, my fan fic story is currently on hold, hopefully, I'll get back to it in November.

Anyhow Itchy gets a checkup!! They are getting their wires rearranged. It’s a lot like getting a vaccine in a way...

Synapse says goodbye to his son before turning himself in to be interrogated by Prince Max. Itchy is afraid to be apart from Synapse for so long, as they’ve spent most of their life following him around wherever he went. If Synapse is locked away for ages, where will Itchy go?

It’s just occurred to me that I’ve never posted Itchy on here (just on DA)! Time to change that! Their full name is Ichthyargyropodus, and they’re biotech like Peg-- a robotic silverfish with a functioning organic brain. They were originally just a sculpture made by Makabris, but Synapse saw promise in his design and brought it to life. Despite Itchy’s height and speech capability, they’re actually only over a year old. But that’s expected, robots can’t exactly grow like living beings do.

Though Makabris technically created them, Itchy is much more attached to Synapse. I guess it could be compared to something like imprinting? They regard Synapse as their father, and Synapse happily raises them as his own child. Synapse generally does treat all of his machines as if they are his children, but obviously since Itchy is literally sentient, it’s much more real. Itchy does regard Makabris as a parent in some capacity, but not as a guardian if that makes sense. Their relationship is rather distant. For the most part Makabris is unbothered by this since he thinks Itchy is a pain to deal with, though he can be a bit jealous of how strong of a bond Itchy has with Synapse.

Itchy will have to learn to be more independent from Synapse earlier than expected, but thankfully they have the support of the other Kruds too.

Also, for the record, Itchy is nonbinary. Synapse refers to them as ‘son’ because it’s more personal than saying ‘child’ in my opinion.

I have been waiting the ENTIRE FIRST HALF OF THIS MONTH to post this!! Happy valentines day I guess lol.

As you may know, I don’t really celebrate Valentines day & I don’t think I have done it properly since... oof, maybe since elementary school where they make you give valentines to everyone in your class, lol. But... this blog has a bit of a yearly tradition where I post a bit of ship art every Valentine’s day. This year’s drawing was inspired by a request I got from @dnpanimationstudioclone featuring Krabo and Synapse. I thought it was a cute idea, so I went for it! 

I tried a new shading style on Synapse to make him look shinier. I like the banded look, though it didn’t look as nice when I tried to shade Krabo the same way so he only has one shading color (not counting his eyes). I guess it works out in the end, since Synapse is generally shinier & more brightly colored than Krabo anyways. On a side note, this is probably the best Krabo I’ve drawn so far. I feel like he’s pretty on-model here! I am improving after all...

Another prompt featuring, Alex and Synapse with prosethtic wings. The wings design is different from my light prompt drawing. Because it was from the Chroma AU, well before the events took place.
