🌮 Day 36 of Game Dev for 🫱Teleport Man🫲
I added lil guys to help remind you what the control are.
Since what each button does changes depending on the object you're holding, I guess it's important to have such prompts. 👅

🌈 Day 23 of Game Dev for 🫱Teleport Man🫲
Also oversaturated my pause/settings menu cause I'm not a coward.
+ Custom cursors + Fun metaball outlines for control config
✨ Day 58 of Game Dev for 🫱Teleport Man🫲
I WANTED THE BUTTON FOR STARTING A NEW GAME TO FEEL IMPACTFUL
📺 Day 66 of Game Dev for 🫱Teleport Man🫲
On a whim I decided to slap on a CRT shader (you know.. cause this is supposed to be a horror game or something) and I must say HOLY FRICK WAIT A SECOND THIS SHIT EATS SO HARD???
🤖 Day 46 of Game Dev for 🫱Teleport Man🫲
Rotoscope Workflow PART 1 - Doing da live-action stuff
By request, I shall do some devlogs on my rotoscoping workflow. I put a bit of effort into it. But in return I split it up into parts so I don't have to do it all in one day heheheh.
☕ Day 40 of Game Dev for 🫱Teleport Man🫲
Back to working on the title/main menu. Created this fun "breaking" effect for the title text.
The issue is I put in a lot of effort giving each letter rigid-body collision with precise collision boxes for each letter... but it ended up not being that noticeable. The letters fall off-screen long before you can see them collide with each other. Maybe it's for the best; at least they don't move on-top of each other...
🔧 Day 11 of Daily Devlogs for 🫱Teleport Man🫲
Worked on internal save data coding stuff. Unfortunately that isn't very visual, so instead here's more pre-throw rotoscoping footage cause it's a little funny.
The bottom part couldn't be green-screened out since it was too similar to my skin color. I mean... I could've been done, but this was only for testing purposes.
💥 Day 51 of Game Dev for 🫱Teleport Man🫲
Added the ability to 💥💥EXPLODE💥💥 your save files.
The player has to hold down the delete button to confirm their decision. Makes it feel more fun, impactful, and, most importantly, is easier to develop than a confirmation popup. 😅
