Idk, a little PSA considering the date and the recent shootings and gun violence in America. Political Violence is bad, regardless of who it is happening to. Terror attacks are also bad. It is one thing not to mourn for someone; it's another to actively cheer on a death and call for more. Political violence will never have the desired outcome of "bringing on the revolution" or whatever far-left and far-right people think nowadays, and will only cause the person to look like a martyr for their cause, and martyrs are not a thing we want more of anywhere. On a similar note, terror attacks aren't funny and shouldn't be made light of. Again, you don't have to mourn; you aren't obliged to. There has been misinformation spread, and discrimination absolutely done using terror attacks as a "reason", but it's really a whole new beast to make serious dates of mass deaths a "happy holiday."
TLDR; Violence begets more violence, and is generally a bad thing we really don't want, regardless of who it's happening to.

18,365 terror attacks. One year. One tiny country under constant fire. This isn’t a conflict. It’s a relentless war of hatred aimed at the very existence of Israel. Imagine waking up every single day knowing someone is out there trying to murder your family, your children, and your neighbors—just because you’re Israeli. That’s not resistance. That’s terrorism. And no, Israel should never be expected to “accept” this as normal. No nation on Earth would. Enough with the double standards. Enough with the silence. You either stand against terrorism, or you stand with it. There’s no in-between.
Reminder as we approach 9/11
I know it's easy to be cynical and blasé about the September 11th attacks given everything that followed, but keep in mind that it was only 24 years ago. Many of the survivors are still alive and living with chronic illness and trauma as a result. Victims' loved ones are still alive and carrying that grief with them, and every single year they have to re-live their friends, parents, children, colleagues, spouses, being killed on live television. Almost 3k people from over 100 countries died that day alone -- that's not including people who later died from health complications, suicide, or substance abuse as a direct result of the attacks. It also marks the day when Arab and Muslim Americans were no suddenly longer safe in their own home.
Anyway, I know we all like to make our morbid little jokey jokes, but let's also keep in mind that this is a really hard day for a lot of people.

🔎 Context matters. Despite the media's framing, the IDF’s counterterror operations in the West Bank aren’t happening in a vacuum. Weapons, explosives, and terror cells are being uncovered regularly. If terrorists stopped plotting attacks, these raids wouldn’t be necessary. But will the media ever report why they happen?
If you own a gun, now is a good time to make sure you're always carrying for protection. Better safety than sorry in this mad world...
