Come learn about the six genders in Judaism, and what our tradition can teach us about gender diversity and inclusion of people who don't fit into the gender binary. Class Description:

Have you ever asked yourself,"Self, what do our prayers mean?" Or "Self, what do our prayers mean to me?" then, this is the series for you! Each month we will dive into a different prayer theme that will help you find meaning and comfort in our ancient words.

Come celebrate this loving time of year with an enriching dive into the prayers and texts from the Torah that we read and chant at the beginning of our morning and evening services.  Jewish scholarship often argues that there is an intimate connection between God's love and our ability to gain life transforming knowledge.

This month we will discuss Ahavat Olam from our evening service and Ahava Raba from our morning services both in conversation with the Shema and the V'ahavta.   Not only will we discuss the literal  meaning of each prayer, how they developed historically, and how these ancient words can connect to you today: and continue to transform your life.

As always, all of our events are open to Jews and non-Jews, almost-Jews, non-Jewish partners, curious non-Jews, and everyone in between.  We strive to create inclusive, online Jewish Learning and rituals that are accessible, affirming, and supportive.
