You know, Bee and Wasp might have had Kup as their Drill Instructor initially - maybe he didn't retire yet because there just wasn't a suitable replacement for him.

Of course he kept the name "Wasp" for Wasp because it's fitting, but he may have just called Bumblebee "Bee" or even had him named "Busy Bee" because of how quick and chatty he is, always keeping busy in some fashion - even if he never could stay on task. So you can imagine his sadness and regret when Bee and Wasp were outed as Decepticon Spies and taken to the Stockades. He didn't want to believe those two could ever be 'Cons, but the evidence was too damning.

Eventually they both escape (With help from the true Decepticon Spy as a means of distracting the Elite Guard) and make their way to Earth where they can get their revenge on Ironhide and Bulkhead.

Ironhide who might have actually been made the Prime in charge of the Repair Crew, Bulkhead as the Chief Engineer for Space Bridges, Ratchet who owns the ship and acts as the primary medic.

As for Sentinel and Dion? Neither of them got the pity title of Prime from Ultra Magnus, instead they were booted out and given no future...until Ratchet found them and decided to take them under his wing. Hired them to be bodyguards for the Repair Crew specifically, as he learns early on that they were originally Academy Bots.

And then there's Prowler...

Orion just has a habit of finding and adopting wayward bots into his family - Blackarachnia, Prowl, and maybe Bee and Wasp after they escape.

YESS. Sentinel and Dion do not get the Prime title. Unlike Op they are not very alurring and so just got the boot. Ironhide though has worked hard to where he has gotten, that he was given the title Prime.

Ironhide Prime, wow what a mouthful.

As for the others I do think Op should adopt siblings whenever he can. Blackarachnia, Prowl, Bee, and Wasp all one way or another find themself interacting with Op and get adopted by him.

Op encouraged Prowl to become a bounty hunter, Wanting to see the horrified look upon Lockdowns face when he's being replaced by someone who's semi younger as their hunter.

It does not help that Prowl has stolen from him, and refuses to give them back.

Ratchets EMP mostly because he saw the dangers it possessed and didn't want it in the servos of the mech that killed Yoketron. Also why he stole Yoketrons helmet, because boy Lockdown did not deserve it as he was his killer.

When Bee and wasp came to earth he adopted them right away, even showing them the Autobot hide out. "Fuck them up little bros."

Also Kup being Bee and Wasp mentor hurts. He feels like there was something missing when he was mentoring Sentinel, Elita, and Dion. Someone Blue and red. He doesn't know why? He just has a feeling. He may just be getting old.

D-16 should’ve just straight up been called Dion in TFOne. Like go big or go home. It was awkward how he was the only guy in his friend group going by his serial number. Not counting B-127 whose been stuck by himself. Maybe they can explore this in future G1 adaptions. Have future!Megatron kill his younger self and have him sent into the past to be rebuilt by the Constructicons and be the Decepticons’ answer to Optimus Prime. A lot of timeline bs but that episode was crazy anyway.

That is actually a really interesting idea. I've never thought about making D-16 actually be Dion, though I understand the thought process considering he basically took the place of Dion in Transformers One.

I do wish they had Dion in there, and it would be an interesting plot idea to have him travel back to kill his past self like the Aerialbots did when they witnessed the death of Orion Pax. Or they could do it like the MTMTE comic where Megatron goes back to try and kill Orion Pax to stop him from posing a threat to his plan like Brainstorm trying to kill young Megatron. Their use of Zeta Prime as the Thirteenth Prime was definitely an interesting change to the lore, and I'm interested to see if a franchise forms from it.

Hasbro never does anything with Dion and Megatron seems to have permanently replaced him as Optimus' pre-war bestie, and Dion barely ever had anything going on for him.

They could just as well give the name "Dion" to pre-war Megatron, it'd propably pass as a nickname for "D-16" since it sounds similiar to "D1".
