Anyway I am most definitely not chill about this episode

Ok first of all I don't think I can even fully address the Amanda situation yet. Im so upset. And three episodes left to the season? This is about to be wild. What I will address is that when Amanda was shot last season, we didn't get any of Faith's reaction to that. We didn't see her at the hospital and s4 started with a time jump so we didn't get to see how she handles any of that.

This time, we will. And with her personal and professional development this season- her conflict with her professional life, the falling in and falling out with Malcolm, her friendship with Ormewood - I'm looking forward to how she deals with this, how she seeks support from those around her because of course they all know her, but that's Aunt Mandy! The preview they chose, with her telling Amanda she sees the life she's built*, then telling Ormewood she wants to make her own choices - just using logic here they don't put a character through something that massive two seasons in a row so Im operating as if they're killing Amanda off - it'll be interesting to see how Amanda's death (😭) shapes that, something about carrying on or completely shirking Amanda's mentality of 'still gotta make Daddy proud' idk more on that later possibly. But man if Faith came out of this Malcolm situation with questions about what she wants out of life and making her own decisions, she's about to experience an epic crisis.

ALSO! Faith STILL doesn't know the depths of Will and Amanda's relationship! She knows they have a weird sibling rivalry when it comes to Amanda but she doesn't know to what extent so this is going to add a whole new messy layer to their working relationship as well because obviously that will come out after death but I feel like there has to be some other reveal too within all that that even Will still doesn't know about.

HIT 95FM has this stupid ad where they use the initial lyrics of this beautiful song. I used to expect them to actually play this song for once but it would ALWAYS turn out to be that corny shitty ad... and okay I get it, it's "creative" and "funny" and ads are psychologically irritating BUT this is where I draw the line, why destroy a timeless gem?? Now whenever this song starts my brain prays that it isn't followed by "bade mujhe bhi acche lagte h, HIT95 ke chote Ad breaks" !!!
