So... I did a thing... I have notifications set up for jobs in my field sometimes I review them, most of the time I don’t. I like my job at Honor. I like my team, I like the atmosphere. But it is a haul. I drive approximately 300 miles per week for a part time job that leaves me with little margin. So when I saw the notification - I applied. Much to my surprise they contacted me the same day. We set up a phone interview and an appointment during the hiring event this week. It is a similar position, higher salary and closer to home. Depending on the schedule it will save me 100-200 miles per week and approximately 2 hours in drive time.
