The cherubs were unnecessary in Full Moon but personally, I enjoyed the excuse for a fight scene. That fight scene was awesome and I enjoyed the excuse for us to have one.

What is the name of The Phoenix Wielder Star Cherub? And does their descendant inherit one ability from the Phoenix wielder?

I currently don't have a name for their wielder at this time. But I can tell you about their descendants.

These are the girls. The long haired girl is named Venus Sunrise. She is a star cherub who's family is famous for their powerful sun magic and healing abilities. She's apart of the Fourth Division. The red plump girl is named Phillia Heartmoon Venus's half sister born from an illicit affair. Don't want to go too much into her right now, since I'm still developing her. But let's just say that there's some bad blood between them. So expect some drama ahead. But I'll save that for when I make their mini and full bios and update their meet pics.

Meet My Cats: Tasha!

The Earless Wonder! My little Russian Blue!

Miss Tasha had the misfortune of living outside one winter, so she had no ears by the time I found her. She was nearly feral by the time my roommates and I realized there was a weird otter-looking creature running around in our parking lot.

My family took her in after we determined that no one in the entire town wanted a cat. Also, she was a “repeat offender” and misbehaved greatly when removed from her parking lot, so the Humane Society couldn’t handle her. Being a Russian Blue, she had a bad habit of leaving new homes to march back (uphill both ways, through the snow, barefoot!) to the adoption center. She’s since ditched that tendency. 

Tasha is a graceless creature. She likes to stick her leggy out real far! She’s also mostly mute.

Tasha is now an adorable mush who spends her days lounging with her siblings. She hadn’t been around other cats before, but now quite enjoys chilling with Zoey and Manchester (Baby is less fond of her and bops her every time they cross paths).

Found some "old" drama around Homestuck/Andrew Hussie recently and I respect your opinion. What do you think about the "caucasian joke" that used to be found in the Trickster arc? I don't mind it. I also saw other stuff around Andrew's responses to questions around disabilities, fat, stereotyping, race, and similar topics. I know this question can be controversial so any other links about your opinion would be nice if you have the time. Thanks and can't wait to see more.

Back in the old fandom days, I was one of the many who was pretty pissed about that joke and internalized it as some sort of “take that” at Homestuck fans who had criticisms of the comic’s relationship to race.

My feelings have since shifted, and I certainly don’t think that was the narrative intent. I think the Caucasian joke is better understood in context with the rest of the comic’s gnostic themes. I’ve written an article on Trickster Mode:

Suffice it to say, I’m not an expert on race issues, and I don’t want my personal feelings to imply that all people who are critical of Homestuck along those lines are being unreasonable or anything.

But my reading of the text is such that if anything, the joke here is on Whiteness as a source of political power.

Or, even more likely, on making a tongue in cheek reference to one of AURYN’s side-effects in The Neverending Story. When Bastian (a white kid) gains the amulet (same one depicted on Jane’s Lollipop), he’s also transformed into an “oriental prince.” Racebending is sort of part of the thing’s powerset.

Not on debunking the idea that the kids could be white, or mocking fans who wanted to consider the possibility.

I know creating a family tree / shipping chart for Homestuck amounts to a work of futility, given paradox clones, offshoot timelines, cosmic reboots and troll romance - plus there’s a good one for the humans on the Wikia already - but still I made this (incomplete, unrevised) draft, which contains I believe 101 characters.

I’m not sure Pet or Employment should even be in there, but eh, it’s my show.
