I know there are a couple different variations on who is in Cody's command batch, so before I continue, here is my hc of who: Cody, Fox, Ponds, Wolffe, Bly
now. as for the ORDER of oldest to youngest, this may be a little contraversal, but I do not hc Cody as the oldest- HEAR ME OUT!
Oldest: Ponds - I know we don't see a lot of Ponds but I love him guys. the angst potential if you keep him dead, the oldest gone first. but I also like to think he is very level headed, gives the best advice. I like to think he has the most emotional intelligence of the batch. But that doesn’t mean he’s some pushover. Oh no. Just like his Jedi General, he will try for peace first, but he will not hesitate to decimate a motherfucker. He also has the “oldest ends up the shortest” syndrome (is it by centimeters? Yes, but it counts!!! -Bly)
Second Oldest: Fox - I love little Fox’ika as much as the next person. But there is something so fucking appealing to me about the idea of older brother, who was the best of his brothers in almost everything (Cody, the wild unpredictable asshole can more often than not beat him in hand to hand) being assigned Coruscant. The supposed “easy posting”. Growing up Fox was always the “cool” older brother. He was one of the very few cadets that could get away with sly words and back talk towards the trainers and alphas. He influenced Cody and Wolffe’s more wild fighting styles. But on Coruscant? He now has the weight of all these brothers lives on a very thin thread that he guards and protects with his body and blood.
Middle Child: Cody - Hear me out. Cody is THE middle child. Cody is fucking crazy. He gives off over achiever vibes in the most rebellious ways. And my god if Cody deems you friend, you have his undying loyalty. Just look how that turned out for Rex. Bro got his ass adopted. But do anything to hurt those he cares about he will never forget it. He was the batches Kote, a natural born leader, inspiring any vode that work under him. It was his unpredictability that set him apart from others. The drive to survive, to Live, no matter matter what. Shereshoy, a lust for life.
Second Youngest: Wollfe - I don’t know how anyone can look at how bitchy and annoyed he was in that one C3PO/R2D2 episode and not immediately clock him as a little sibling. He has that bravado and edginess that can only come from someone who, while wasn’t the youngest, was close enough they feel they gotta act like a hardass and mature to be taken seriously. Again, Wolffe is not to be messed with. He is physically the strongest of his batch, but that means nothing when your batch is all highly skilled commanders. At least he still has Bly to pick on.
Youngest: Bly - He is baby. And by that I mean, like all youngest siblings, Bly has mastered the art of ragebait. Alpha-17’s favorite activity when the commanders were cadets was to set Bly on the other Alpha’s and watch them explode within 10 minutes. The best part was, Alpha didn’t have to go and save the kid. Turns out, you spend your time running from angry/extremely annoyed older brothers, you get really fast. Bly ends up the fastest of the batch. While he may be a little shit, he still has baby privileges. His Tooka Eyes™ will work on any of his brothers with about an 87% success rate. This all makes Bly the jokester of the batch. The one who can more easily stay positive. He has his older brothers to lean on after all.
