This was such an exciting book! I love late Victorian London stories, especially when they involve crime, and even more especially when they involve Jack the Ripper. Honestly this book had everything I love going for it.

Dell’s love for penny dreadfuls, crime fiction and true crime was honestly so relatable and the way she fancied herself a detective and longed for a crime to solve added a touch of humour to an otherwise grisly story.

I loved her relationships with both Pippa and Noah so, so much. This trio had my whole heart. But her relationship with Pippa in particular was so sweet, so tender. This isn’t a romance, but I am convinced those two are destined to be together forever, whether romantically or platonically.

The hunt for Jack the Ripper and the unravelling of his identity was absolutely thrilling. I really enjoyed this take on this historic crime story.

Overall another hit from Dunlap and I can’t wait to see what she writes next.

Vampire Plastic Man OMG I love him so much Why!!?

I’m already obsessed with Plastic man hence why I started to read the Terrifics so I can have some of that good plot filled content for my stretchy Boy. But then they had to go and give Plastic Man an Evil vampire alternate self! Who refuses to leave my brain alone. I just cannot stop thinking of him and how cool he is. I. I need more content for this evil version of Plastic Man!! Like how did he become a vampire, how similar is he is to OG Plastic Man, does he still know batman. I need these answers!!
