If Corypheus is the Conductor of Silence...

...Would that mean the Architect of Beauty is named Deidalus?

Like in Ancient Greek, a coryphaeus (or koryphaios) is the conductor of a choir (like the Choir of Silence), and when I looked it up, Daedalus seems to be the name most closest to be a translation for the Architect.

Yes. Daedalus. Like the creator of the Labyrinth of the Minotaur, the father of Icarus (of the wax-winged melted in the sun fame) and uncle of Perdix who he had killed for nearly being as talented as he. But most importantly, the name comes from a root that has a vague meaning “wright” or “ornament” or “form/shape/appearance” or something like it, which seems to fit.

So when I Dragon Aged Daedalus’ name I came up with Deidalus.

Also, my Warden totally has a title like “the Slayer of Beauty” ‘cause she killed both the Dragon of Beauty and the Architect.

I keep seeing Witcher posts and being like “ooohhh I know who would LOVE this” and then tagging you in it and immediately after posting it I stress over whether I’m being too familiar so hopefully it’s ok that I tag you in stuff!
