Right? Like it's on the verge of dehumanizing. That sounds hella dramatic, I know but the "oooh my widdle vampy baby" everytime someone in common is the least bit mean to him (they are particularly hostile to Wyll, then wanna get butthurt when you call them out for it.) or he does anything.

I just don't like the growing sentiment of "if I'm having fun no one should be allowed to criticize me" type beat these days. Like I get it you like Astarion but writing me a paragraph about how people who don't like him "aren't real abuse survivors" means that you should go outside.

Astarion is a bad person, it's what makes him such a great character. He's also a grown ass man and the "little meow-meow" talk has ALWAYS made my skin crawl. I just don't like it and I'm allowed to say so.
