Venna is the party’s half-dragon cleric, though she’s not particularly devoted to Kord, to be honest. She’s more inclined to knocking heads than praying for divine intervention when trouble arises, and even if it doesn’t always lead to a diplomatic solution, she sticks with it. This comes from the fact that the better part of her 20 years were spent on staff for the royal family of Tenevir, and at the bottom of the social ladder, not to mention daughter of the hated local blue dragon, she learned quickly how to stand up for herself when times got rough.
Now, shuttled off to the service of Kord by court order and more than a little indifferent to actually worshiping him, she’s looking for a way out. There has to be somewhere she can carve out a niche for herself without her heritage or status standing in the way. It may take time to get there, though; she knows what it’s like to be at a disadvantage, and it’s her instinct to stand up and fight on behalf of those who can’t fight for themselves until they can take a stand.
