The Padawan

Michael sat in his large office in the castle working on some paperwork, however he really really waiting on Azrael, who he had called to his office earlier. He needed to talk to them for a while now, but he had something a bit better in store for them than just a talking to. 

Whenever Azrael would show up, Michael would put his pen down and lean back in his chair. “I bet you’re wondering why I call you in here today, yes?”

The Padawan

Ever since the final order had been taken down and there was peace in the galaxy now, Rey had taken it upon herself to do what Luke had tried to do and that was to rebuild the Jedi Order and bring it back to its former glory. She remembered the training techniques and the lessons she learned from Luke and from Leia and used their words as guidance to try and build the order again. 

She had learned of a young blonde woman, who seemed to be gifted in the force, she had met with her and and found out that she was indeed a force user that could be trained to help keep the peace in the galaxy. 

After a few months they had learned the basics of the nature of the force, and what the force could do. They were starting to get into some more advanced arts of the force, its uses and how a jedi could use them. They were in the training arena and Rey was sitting in front of Emma and watched her closely while she meditated, “Good, concentrate. Reach out with your feelings.” she said gently as she urged the woman to reach out to the force, to see what the force was trying to show her.

Not sure if this makes me a terrible parent, but we started introducing the kids to the Lord of the Rings movies tonight, and I was so proud when my daughter cried when Boromir died.

Girl is not a crier at all (I’ve often joked she’d make a good farm girl, the way she always thought it was hilarious when our big cat would eat whole rabbits), but now she’s starting to develop real empathy, and that makes really, really happy.

At least that reason sounds good, but I also just love when she gets really into the nerdy crap I enjoy. 😅

Hokey Snoke, The Deputy spotted something cool in Star Wars land. We watched the new Rebels yesterday, and, because he's home sick, put in A New Hope tonight. Let's indulge him. He has the Yakking Icks. Colonel Yularen, the mentor for Agent Kallus in Rebels, is aboard the Death Star in A New Hope. My dude called it, and we made with The Googles. He was proven right. My dude! Six years old!
