BE GAY. DO CRIME. HAPPY PRIDE - Q
you know it most suck for the Q at large that they're known throughout several galaxies for their most annoying bitch member that everyone hated, famous for being obnoxiously in love with a primative life form. imagine introducing yourself all dramatically as they are wont to and being met with "oh, like [the worst guy you know]?"
AU where Flambae is a masseuse and Robert just so happens to visit the spa he works at send post
The character who desperately needs just someone, anyone on their side getting an entire found family is absolutely my favorite comfort trope
I feel like there are many stories with found family elements, but they're romance focused or it's really more of a friend group. But there is just something about the found family being EVERYTHING for a character
When no one cared about them before? Or they lost everything? When they are so alone in the world? When they feel like everything is against them? Or they feel like it's best for everyone if they just stay a loner? When their found family completely and unequivocally saves them?
The Q 🤝 Gaudy Night
Books about traumatized lower-class women who work with erudite aristocrats, with a romance that's structured like a mystery and is so well done that I go insane over it, and it overpowers all my other issues with the structure and becomes one of my favorites despite its flaws.
