Now, but I'm replaying The Quarry, and have had a couple drinks, so I'm even more passionate about this scene than usual.

It takes some really specific actions to get this moment, which sucks, because it's one of the best. Careful players going for the best ending probably won't see this organically. There are like 180 endings, so maybe it's possible? Anyway:

Dylan not only attacks a werewolf Emma to save Kaitlyn, but he PUTS HIMSELF BETWEEN THEM. He pulls her back, he uses his body as a shield, knowing Emma won't go for him because he's bitten.

There's no dialogue. Not a word the entire time. They move in-sync, knowing exactly what needs to happen.

These characters both pine for Ryan. The game could have made them bitter, insufferable enemies. They razz each other a lot.

...And they develop probably the best bond in the game (I love Laura/Max and Ryan/Dylan as romantic couples, but these two...I could play a whole other game with just them.)

An extremely well-written, complex, platonic, almost sibling-esque relationship.
