BUT the MOST interesting "blast from the past" like for me was this one from none other than Sam's ex from 2014, Cody Kennedy. Sam posted pics 10 years apart--2014 when Outlander started and 2024 when it ended. And guess who liked it? Yep, Ms. Cody Kennedy. 👇

But do you know WHY she liked it? Because it reminded her of when she and Sam dated in 2014 and toured the backlots of Sony and Universal Studios.

Let's do a walk through memory lane...

On October 24, 2014 Cody Kennedy posted on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook, showing that she'd been to the Back To The Future exhibit. And Sam Heughan liked her pics, commented on her pics, and she mentioned HE TOOK her pic. 👇

Here she mentions on her Twitter account the Back To The Future 88mph reference. And Sam leaves a comment on her Instagram calling her "88.8mph girl." 👇 I'm waxing nostalgic for the innocent times of yesteryear, when Sam would actually leave comments on his date's accounts. 🥹

Here he is liking her Instagram pic. 👇 And, below that, is Cody on her Facebook, directly mentioning that Sam Heughan took the pic! I'm getting all misty eyed just thinking about it, hahaha. 😊

And we'll, lookie, lookie, WHO else had to pop in and remind us she was also part of Sam's 2014 memories...none other than Sam's long time friend, ex costar and ex FWB, Ms. Amy Shiels. 🤗🙃👇

Imagine a Barbie Wars Part Deux between Amy Shiels and Cody Kennedy ten years later?!?! Hahaha.

For those who weren't around back then, the Barbie Wars is a term I coined to refer to the few weeks in late 2014 when Amy Shiels and Cody Kennedy aka Barbie 1 and Barbie 2, engaged in a public social media catfight over one fine, Mr. Sam Heughan. I wrote an 11 part series giving all the details with screenshots to prove it. Just search my blog or Google #barbiewars or #thebarbiewars and you can read all the drama from back then.

Anyhoo, everyone has moved on, and this is abundantly clear since Amy AND Cody are still cool with Sam, and continue to like his posts. Like I always say, that Samshine was born under a lucky star, and no one can resist that golden, delicious, Scottish charm. No one. Facts. 🤷‍♀️❤️

Why are we assuming that he’s the one to end relationships? It might be the girls? He might be a massive wanker?

Nobody is assuming anything, I KNOW some things FOR SURE due to my insider sources. I don't know WHO broke off EACH relationship or casual dating, but some I DO know.

SAM broke it off with Amy Shiels to date Cody Kennedy (resulting in the infamous The Barbie Wars). Plenty of proof of this.

SAM broke it off with Cody Kennedy to date Abbie Salt. (My source info was later CONFIRMED by Cody's mom, who posted about it on social media).

Sam and Abbie were last seen together in November 2015 (both posted pics skeet shooting in Scotland) and after that, Sam spent Christmas 2015 and New Year's 2016 solo in Thailand, doing Muay Thai training and decompressing. I can't remember who ended that relationship, but it seems it was probably mutual.

Then with Mackenzie Mauzy, I had a few inside sources, but one particular source (who CONFIRMED on Tumblr that she was my source) said the reason the relationship between Sam and Mackenzie ended was because HE didn't want to get married and have kids yet, and she did.

As for Gia Marie, I talked to someone who DMed with one of her friends and her friend confirmed HE ended it. Gia thought they could have something longer term and he didn't want that.

The other casual ones he dated, like Danielle Kling, Georgia Ellenwood, if we can believe Monika Aksamit (she talked to some of these women and did a podcast about Sam), HE ended the relationships. I don't know about Christina Ochoa.

And Hannah James, that one, it does seem like SHE ended it, but who knows.

As for the most recent casual ones, Anna Modler, Monika Clarke, and Katrina Komitsch, signs point to HIM dating casually and moving on.

I haven't heard one story of the woman ending it and Sam being the brokenhearted one. That doesn't mean it hasn't happened, but the INFO I've gotten, doesn't support that. The INFO I've gotten from sources supports Sam being the one to break it off the MAJORITY of the time. That doesn't mean 100% of the time though.

I DO think eventually Sam will be in a committed relationship AGAIN..and for some reason, I don't know why, I have a good feeling about Karina Elle. But I could be totally wrong. 🤷‍♀️ Time will tell...

All I know is THIS 👇 man, his Scottish charm, and TMGD are hard to resist, and have been known to make grown women lose their dang minds...some for longer than others. 🙃

Funny how you never get anything on your own, it’s always DM. Most of us already saw the airport pics. AND, Amy has always said she and Sam were only friends - strongly, in fact. For you to say otherwise is wrong and misleading.

Guess you need a review of what I've said a million times or you're a newbie...or a troll. 🙄

1. I'm in Los Angeles on PST aka Pacific Standard Time and I don't have to wake up early for work...so most of the time, by the time I wake up and check my Tumblr and Twitter DMs, stuff is already posted.

2. I DO get 99% of my info from OTHERS in DM. It is very rare that I see something on my own or go looking on my own. It's been like that for 8 years. As always, I'm simply the messenger.

3a. Amy has NOT always said she and Sam were only friends. It's only been recently that's she's acted like Sam is just her "big bro." That may be the case now, but it FOR SURE was not the case between 2003 to 2014...on and off.

In the past, her Tweets to Sam and vice versa VERY MUCH gave the impression that they had been MORE than friends, or at least FWB--Friends With Benefits. Here's a small sampling. 👇

So, hey, if Amy wants to deny that Sam was more than a friend, that’s on her, but no one can deny the screencaps above signaling there was at least a FWB relationship. 🤷‍♀️ And there are many more.

b. Also, The Barbie Wars--the period end of October 2014 to November 2014 when Amy and Cody Kennedy engaged in a cyber catfight over Sam also PROVES Amy's feelings toward Sam were more than platonic. A woman doesn't act the way Amy did toward Cody if the dude is "just" a friend.

c. I KNOW Sam and Amy were more than friends via my original industry source, who was in NY during the Outlander Season 1 premiere end of July 2014 and confirmed Sam and Amy were there TOGETHER together.  She also said that Sam skipped out on a get together and told my source he couldn't go because "he had a date."

From a perusal of Anna's Instagram account, it's clear she's used to traveling and living the high life. Good for her! And she's dated two rich, high profile men in the past. Samshine is keeping up his game and definitely wining, dining, and romancing her. And he has something the other men don't have, that special je ne sais quoi that makes him irresistible. Like his ex, Cody Kennedy said back in the day "Scottish men are >"...basically other men. JS. 😋

Anyhooo, all may not be smooth sailing on the Seine for our newly coined couple, Samodler, though. Another Anna rumored to have been dating our dashing Scotsman, reared her head today, and left a comment on his IG for the FIRST time ever. Things that make you go hmm. 👇

For those who don't know #BarbieWars or #TheBarbieWars , I can't remember how I hashtagged it, is an 11 part series I posted on here detailing the period back in late 2014 when Amy Shiels and Cody Kennedy engaged in a public social media catfight over one fine, delicious, golden god named Sam Heughan. It was epic hilarity and I still get a smile on my face when I think of the silliness. Ah, such innocent and simpler times...

See, Anons, if I hadn’t been here for over 5 years and seen the same thing play out over and over again, I may have given credence to what you’re trying to sell me. But I HAVE been here over years and KNOW FOR SURE that the ones who get this outraged by Sam’s “behavior” as it relates to women he dates are Extreme Shippers, ex-Extreme Shippers, Regular Shippers, Closet Shippers, and what I call Shipper-Sympathizers. Why do I say this?

Because back in the day, when there was the outrage over Amy Shiels, and then Cody Kennedy, I was still a shipper. And I was one of the ones who treated them horribly and harassed them, and I saw what sides people fell into (I’ve since apologized directly to them for my bad behavior). There was the Shipper side who was PISSED at Sam for not frolicking in pools and on the beach with Cait, and showed public HATE towards the non-Caits. There were the Mean Girls who hung out with us, who weren’t necessarily Shippers, but they were our friends aka Shipper Sympathizers, and they got sick pleasure out of trolling just for the sake of trolling. AND then separately, there were the Super Fans. The ones who had been book fans and then became Outlander TV show fans, and they were appalled at Shipper, Mean Girl, and Shipper Sympathizer behavior. There were also the Regular Fans who may or may not have read the books, but were mostly TV show fans, but were not Shippers. The latter two categories: Super Fans and Regular Fans did not get involved in talking about Sam or Cait’s personal lives and looked down on those who did. 

Those categories have not changed much in 5 years. I can assure you that Super Fans and Regular fans are not spending their time tagging Sam directly to scold him about being in Hawaii. They don’t focus on Sam’s personal life, they’re not invested in it, therefore nothing he does in that regard “disappoints” them. They’re about the books, the show, the charities, and Sam’s other endeavors. As long as Sam fulfills his obligations to those, they don’t care what he’s doing on his off time. Are there Super Fans and Regular Fans who have heard about Sam being in Hawaii with Gia and maybe thought he could have made a different choice? Sure. BUT the difference is they are NOT tagging Sam or Gia complaining to them directly, or whining about it all over social media. And they are certainly NOT creating hate sock troll accounts to hate on Sam and Gia. That category is reserved solely for Extreme Shippers. The ones who PUBLICLY proclaim that their ship is still sailing and Sam and Cait are secretly together are just fronting for their back alley alter egos who reside as hate sock troll accounts on Instagram and Tumblr. Kim the Flutist is a perfect example of this duplicity. On her regular Flutist account, she’s all love and light and support for both Cait and Sam, despite now being blocked by both of them. But in the dirty back alleys of Instagram slums, she herself has admitted, she resides there as Outlanderlover2013, and used to be fameho_ who HATED HEAVILY on Sam’s ex, Mackenzie Mauzy. And it’s pretty clear she’s at least one of the current Gia hate accounts on IG. That’s what’s so sick about ES. They can act all sweet and normal to people’s faces, but their true angry, miserable selves come out via their other social media personas.

So, you can keep coming back sending me these types of Anon Asks trying to convince me that Sam’s “really done it this time” because now it’s not just Extreme Shippers who are angry at Sam, and therefore trying to legitimize the outrage, but I’m not buying the manure you’re selling. Because I know what’s what and who’s who. And the what’s what and who’s who is that ONLY shippers and anyone related to them get this riled up and hateful over how and with whom Sam spends his off time. I looked at the accounts of the people complaining to Sam and there is NOT ONE that is not in some way related with shippers. Not one. 

I would bet good money if it had been Sam and Cait who had holed up together in Hawaii during the quarantine, all these faux outragers would be sending them messages of support “you made the right choice not to take a long flight back to the UK, so wise of youuuuuu.” And shipping them food, embroidered blankets, pillows, homemade masks, etc, etc, etc. That’s all she wrote, folks. TRUTH and FACTS. Simple as that. 

PS. As for Sam, he survived The Barbie Wars, Parisgate, Snorkelgate, Countergate, Kitchengate, Capgate, Fistbumpgate, Handgate, Baseballgamegate,Lemongate, Coffeegate, Tunagate, assorted other Gates I can’t remember... he’ll survive Hawaiigate, and come out even better on the other side. Because the MAJORITY of fans can see that the good outweighs the bad--no one stays mad for long at Samshine. He was born under a special star. And that’s just the way it is. No.Matter.What.The.Haters.Do.

Hi, Anon, I answered this years and years ago, but I’ll answer it again. In 2011, way before Outlander, Sam and Amy Shiels used to flirt like crazy and banter back and forth on Twitter. I forgot what Amy said, but Sam’s response was “ain’t nothing straight about my Bat, you know that!.” It was a double entendre because Sam was starring in Batman Live as Batman, and it could also be taken another way. Some people interpreted it as Sam was saying he wasn’t straight aka he was gay. Others took it to mean he was implying his Bat aka his p*nis wasn’t straight, as in it had a bit of a curve to it (like many p*nis do. 😊) The “Sam is closeted gay” brigade have always used that Tweet as “proof” that Sam is gay. BUT, Amy actually dispelled that myth, when after Sam said “ain’t nothing straight about my Bat, YOU know that!”she posted a picture of chocolate covered bananas that were not straight, as in they were a bit curved. I, and most reasonable people, took that to mean she was acknowledging Sam’s p*nis is a bit curved…and that yes, she’s seen it. ;-)

I believe it was this picture of curved d*ck shaped chocolate covered bananas 👇 that Amy posted. 😁🍌 I think that pretty much clears up the “bat” both Sam and Amy were referring to as not being straight aka it’s curved. 

As an aside, the reason, I’ve always maintained Amy and Sam were FWB--Friends With Benefits, for a bit was because of the way they flirted online before Outlander, the fact that Sam took Amy as his date to the Outlander Season 1 premiere in New York, then her Tweets once Outlander premiered where she basically “claimed” Sam as her man, and most importantly, my original industry source who was in New York during the premiere, confirming to me that Sam had indeed brought Amy as his non-platonic date. And then later, the Barbie Wars between Amy and Cody Kennedy. Two women don’t have a public catfight over a man if he’s gay or they’re bearding for him. It just doesn’t happen. TMGD–The Magical Golden Dirk is powerful and makes grown women lose their dang minds. Amy and Cody PROVED that they were willing to publicly make fools of themselves to be victorious and rule over the dirk. Nothing crooked about that. 😉 Now you know.
