I feel dreadfully prejudiced but I'm having a hard time picturing what would be considered a war crime in the Underdark.

(Virgil freezes solid, not sure where this question came from but clearly uninterested in asking. He looks like he's going to explain for a moment, but his teeth snap shut with a painful-sounding click, and he winces at the taste of his own blood in his mouth.)

so I thin CNC is interesting (and Dubcon can be too, in the same way.) it used to be a little more common, I think, at least in fanfic.

Sometimes, now I feel bad for liking it and then I get angry, because what the fuck makes it different than any other roleplay. People still get to have 'master and slave' right? Why is 'I'm going to break you down and destroy you with pleasure whether you like it or not?' so much worse than 'I own you.'

They seem to be coming from a similar locale, at least to me.

I think the big question, if the two aus met, would be how would Mer!Virgil and Mer!Roman get along? Would Pirate!Virgil attack Captain Roman's ship just on principle?

I think as soon as captain Virgil realized Roman was a prince he’d be like “oh I’m absolutely gonna rob this fool” and Roman would be like “what’s that? Homoerotic sword fight? Do not mind if I do, have at thee my love”

Mer Virgil meeting Mer Roman would be interesting cause I think V would instinctively close himself off more. It’s not like Ro couldn’t follow him in the water so he’d be a bit more self conscious being so exposed, so he’d try to push him away with his dark exterior. And mer Roman would be so intrigued by the dark mysterious mer and constantly trying to woo him. Eventually V would start to open up more and they’d evolve their flirty, playing-hard-to-get routine.

What it seems like is the two pirates au would be full of action and tension and Forbidden Nemesis Romance™, and the two mers au would be a lot softer, full of courtship and pining.

Alright that’s all I’m answering about the au au y’all, maybe one day I’ll come back to it but for now it’s not anything official yet 👀

I don’t want to kill the man, I just want his career to be over. Even that’s a little harsh, because he did seem to be improving for a little bit there. I guess what I want is for his career to not have happened. However, I will not do this, because going back in time to make Steven Moffat select another career and only publish his bad Doctor Who fanfiction on AO3 like the rest of us is an entirely too Moffat-y plot point.

The gloves thing is spot-on, though.

while I have every intention to finish before the end of the month,and despite my best efforts I have discovered that there is very little chance of my story being done by my posting date of the 10th. Is there some way I could orchestrate a trade with someone with a later date?
