Surprises || Lillian & Kyle

Lillian had such an incredible time with Kyle and her son loved Kyle as did she. Things had gotten a little off as of the last week or two and she couldn’t pinpoint why. Lil just pushed through and kept focus on her son, her work and Kyle. It was due time for a checkup for both herself and her small spawn, After her jobs were done at the office, she headed down to get lil one and over to the office. Once they were done, her doctor asked them to follow him into a room- which had a ultrasound machine. Henry sat on a chair and played with his tablet while the ultrasound tech and her doctor looked over her stomach, pointing out something that Lillian hadn’t seen in nearly 7 years- a fetus. Lillian nearly choked back tears but remained calm as best as she could as they told her she was a month along already but were impressed that she wasn’t showing. When finished with the ultrasound and making a new appointment, Lillian and Henry made their was out of the office and to the car. She sent Kyle a message to meet them down at the pier as she headed there herself.

You're scaring me | Daryl & Chiles

@thecarpenterclan Daryl was more than worried right now. What had started out as a fairly innocent text conversation with Chiles had changed quickly and had him imagining all sorts of scenarios in his head. He’d been friends with Chiles for a while and that meant he felt like he knew when something was wrong. When he really thought about it the original text wasn’t all that innocent. She’d basically described a complete invasion of privacy but the way she’d been over the texts that had carried on from there had him thinking this could be much more than that. He didn’t want to think about it when it really got down to it but he did need to know what was going on. She seemed different and maybe he was reading too much into it but he knew he wouldn’t rest until he knew. During his thinking he’d thrown on his jacket and made his way to her house. Now standing outside he knocked loudly “Chiles? Open up.” After the briefest of moments he knocked again. Maybe he should of waited longer. “It’s Daryl. Come on let me in it’s freezing.”
