It was no surprise that Hermione threw herself into her career. She had always been a hard worker when it came to something she was passionate about. Although she did love her job endlessly, it did sadden her that she barely seen her friends and family often. She did try to visit her parents every Sunday for brunch and she even visited the Weasley familly from time to time. As for her friends, she hardly had the time. Her work kept her busy day and night, filling out reports and contacting numerous witches and wizards. Her job was difficult and needed her full attention.
However, lately she had been missing her certain emerald eyed best friend. He had been busy as well, from what she understood. They rarely spoke at work for Harry was either on the other side of the Ministry or in the field and Hermione was always in her office, sometimes not leaving for home until the late hours of the night. So when she caught up on her paperwork by some miracle, she contacted him straight away. They decided on dinner at his place. So, a few minutes shy of six, Hermione found herself in front of the flat door. Nervous with happiness, she rapped her knuckles on the door before awaiting his answer.
