The Ones we Trust (thesweetscout)
The evening air is crisp and light, gently tugging at the leaves in the trees and swaying the grass in a streamline fashion. A picture of serenity if one did anyone ever saw it that way. Though times of peace and serenity were few and far between, especially with his squad.
A thundering sound echoes off the trees followed softly by the galloping of several horeses. They hadn't expected this many titans in one area. It's a bit disheartening, especially if they found abnormals that band together.
So Levi gave the order to split up in hopes to divide the Titan's. It's hard, but he trusts his team to take care of the ones that followed after them. Just as he knew he could take care of the ones that followed him and the few soliders that followed after him. Firing his 3D gear, the captain launched off his horse and into the trees, a few members following after, but once again spread out to confuse and keep the monsters at bay. Now it's just two per Titan.
"There is no hesitation now, are you ready?"
His eyes land in the blonde girl next to him. She looks no older then someone that could pass as his daughter. She is from the 104th squad and fresh to the battle field as a Survey officer. He doubted she had the follow through, but she'd made it this far so she must have some talent behind that fair facade.

At first he only intends to observe her, noting the slight similarities in their appearances. The first and second times might have gone unnoticed but when he glances at her a third time, Armin knows that he's been staring too much. enough to make the girl probably uncomfortable.
And when Christa does turn his direction, he looks away and mumbles an awkward apology. "Sorry. I didn't mean to stare."

The little catgirl was sitting in her new home, up in the top of an old fig tree. Robina Lucci had just moved in, but she immediately liked the place. It was quiet and peaceful, not too small or too large, not too cold or too hot (if catgirls had such a concept). If she had any stronger feelings, she's say she loved it.
Suddenly, she felt the presence of something large pass by. It wasn't one of the forest pigs, it was far too gentle for that. And it was too large for a kantjil, the small deer that lived in this area. "Who goes there?", she asked before sticking her head out the window to see.
thesweetscout The fourth trap she had bothered to check and it was fruitless; deserted from any promise of a meal. The brunette clarified her disdain over the revelation by aggressively kicking the leaves and snow back over the hidden contraption, and sneering out a cold, misted breath. Two layers of ragged jackets that had definitely seen their better days did little to shield her from winds as invasive and cutting as the hunting blade in her raw shaken grasp. Cupping hands to her mouth, she busied herself with breathing into them in a vain attempt at warming some actual feeling back into them, winding her way past the skeletons of trees and into the clearing, where their makeshift shelter stood tucked away between husks of cars and an old, crumpled building whose interior was not suitable to be inhabited. So Ymir had torn off the tin roofing mere days ago, and built them a sort of cave between the cars that tucked at the corner of the building. Tarps and other cluttered equipment helped put some sort of form into the makeshift base of operations, so well hidden from the prodding dead that occupied the city beyond. Sleepless nights came to the two, when the bright bravery of the day faded away into lonely hours filled with the endless verbal cacophony of the dead in the distance. Empty-handed and unsuccessful, Ymir slouched her way towards the small fire, sheltered by another makeshift contraption about a yard from the interior of their temporary residence, and plopped herself down onto the nest of a bed. Partially ashamed by her lack of progress in supplies recovery, the brunette declined meeting her blonde companion with any form of eye contact, focusing herself in on the dancing embers while she lopped arms around her own knees, expression vacant. “One can of pears left. We need to move on soon.”
((Hi hi^^ Since you reblogged)) "You're scaring me..."
"Shh, calm down Historia. I’m not going to hurt you." Eren slowly walk towards the girl with a smile on her face.
