Steve’s muscles ached. He rolled his head from side to side, letting out a long sigh as he slid down into the hot water of the modest sized bathtub. Steam rose from the water like vapor.
He had to stop agreeing to work 12-hour shifts at the hospital. He thought to himself. He’d been covering in the ER for the past week and the full moon brought out all the crazies. He never got a moment to sit down.
He also hadn’t seen Eddie for nearly a week and while that wasn’t unusual for two dudes who are roommates, it was weird for Steve and Eddie because – they’d been screwing for weeks. Maybe months.
Steve rested his head on the tiled wall behind him and closed his eyes, taking a deep breath. He felt the tension melting out of his body.
A gentle rapping at the door caused him to jerk his head. It was their knock. Two sharp taps – pause and two more.
There was a click as the door opened, and Eddie quietly walked in. The room was so filled of steam it looked as if he was emerging from a foggy night.
Steve sat up a little. He softly smiled as he looked Eddie over. He was wearing a homemade tank top with oversized arm holes that showed off his lean waist and chiseled chest, loose fitting jersey shorts and a determined look.
Eddie said nothing. Instead, his gaze flitted across the surface of the water and down Steve’s body and then back up to meet his eyes.
With his gaze fixed on Steve he stripped out of his clothes. Steve softly gaped at him.
He stepped into the hot water and sunk down onto him slowiy.
Steve gently rubbed a circle along Eddie’s hip, relishing in his closeness.
“Show me how much.” He breathed.
