I love the idea that while they're together, Liam starts researching the ace spectrum and all this stuff to understand Theo better and then the open relationship thing comes up. Liam asks Theo what he thinks of course but only out of curiosity and Theo GOES CRAZY. Literally. He starts having all sorts of complexes about Liam and their relationship, about how they shouldn't be together, about how Liam wants to cheat on him but is too good to do that etc... and of course Liam knows NOTHING. Liam has even forgotten that he ever asked the question and in the meantime Theo is going through a total crisis.

I think it's basically canon that at some point Liam makes a comment about someone like a teammate of his (maybe like "yeah the new goalie, Mason says he's handsome) and Theo has a panic attack and Liam obviously gets scared and worried because he has no idea what's been going on in Theo's head for WEEKS and nothing, I love an insecure king.

Theo Raeken, known for his selfishness, does his best to not fall in love with Liam, because he can't destroy him like that, can't put him in the place to choose between him and his pack. Theo believing his not worthy enough to him.

Liam Dunbar, the selfless one, always doing everything for his pack, controlling himself to please everyone, allowing himself to fall for Theo, to love him. Because he can make it work, he can trust Theo, that he changed somehow. He chooses to be selfish one time for Theo. He can deal with the pack later, but he'll fight for him first, to show him his worth saving.

Even though Theo goes to the gym at least twice a week and loves to work out, he is not and has never been a sports fan (or a sports fans fan. never liked jocks). So, when one quiet Tuesday afternoon, Liam Dunbar walks into his small bookstore, he doesn't recognize the lacrosse star. He only sees a cute but clueless guy who is looking for a gift for his mom's birthday in the kids section. A guy who clearly needs help.

"Yeah?"

We can all agree that Theo is like crazy smart and I’d like to think not only in biology, strategy and stuff like that but like he could speak other langagues (french lol) and Liam would be so impressed omg

Wait. Fuck. I can just imagine Liam regularly creating Theo playlists of songs he likes because obviously I very much doubt Theo was up to date with music whilst with the Dread Doctors or the Skinwalkers. This is too cute. I can't.

Letting the Geyers, at a slower pace, into the confidence could have been a good idea. But Liam should have really revised his priorities: slumber parties with the local resident bad boy, the constant posturing and aggressiveness between them, the low, loud, lewd growls... It's only a matter of time until Liam starts to find pamphlets about fursonas left on his desk... just in case he wants to share his "new hobby". He really doesn't. (Un)fortunately, Theo finds the whole situation hilarious...

At breakfast the next day, Dr. Geyer puts the paper down and looks at Liam over the rim of his reading glasses.

"Liam, you know, we love you no matter what-"

"Nope. Not doing this!"

Theo, sporting an amused bordering on mischievous expression, enjoying this far too much: "Oh come on, Little Wolf, don't be like that. Maybe it's time your parents know about your furry little problem."

Liam grins at him.

"Did you just call yourself 'little'?"

-theo’s always been possessive of a lot of things

-even in the fourth grade, he hated to share even with scott or stiles

-when he got older it was less objects and more so people

-wraps arm around his S/O while walking just so people get the hint, “back off they’re mine”

-his latest would be liam

-since he’s a few inches taller than liam, theo can easily envelope the younger boy into a hug no matter where

-shooting daggers at anyone who even so much as look at his baby

-cheekily squeezing liam’s butt during a party

-while holding strong ass eye contact with someone who’s been staring up his baby

-proving to anyone and everyone that liam is his and only his

-ALSO

-gets very possessive of the puppy pack

-“they can’t protect themselves! they’re called the puppy pack for crying out loud”

-his words not mine

-having to be held back by mason during a lacrosse match when someone tackles liam or corey a little too rough

-always looking around for any potential threat when out with the puppy pack

-more than ready to punch anyone in the face who even looks at them slightly wrong

-swearing himself the protector of the puppy pack, and the rest of beacon hills i guess
