7:What was the last bad book you read?
Good question. I never read bad books ;p But the one on my 'currently reading' shelf that I don't continue because it's bad is König Artus und die Abenteuer der Ritter von der Tafelrunde (Legends of King Arthur #1-3) by Rosemary Sutcliff
16:When did you learn to read?
1991 *g* (In school, I was five)
27:Which book was ruined by its movie adaptation?
I don't think I have an answer to this, as I watch so few movies that I don't know a lot of movies where I also read the book. (Should I remember one, I'll make a new post and hopefully remember to tag you.)
36:Are you a fast reader?
Depends on what I compare myself to? I think I'm average, maybe on the fast side if not exactly middling.
48:Which books do you consider "classics"?
Hm. I don't know? I usually consult lists when I want to know if something's a classic. But of course there are books I classify as 'classic' without thinking. Like stuff by Jane Austen and the Bronte sisters, Wilde, Shakespeare and stuff we had to read in school *g*
49:Which books do you think should be taught in every school?
I don't think there are books that should be taught in every school. First, no book will be right for all the children. Second, forcing someone to read is not good if you want them to read. And third, you should always take into account the culture(s) of the pupils.
50:Which books should be banned from all schools?
For pretty much the same reasons as above, I think that banning any book is wrong. (And there's no book I hate so much that I would deprive someone who might enjoy it of the possibility of reading it/being introduced to it in school.)
who would say "pot is pathetic, pal"?
