the phoenix trilogy update comes out today and i need an excuse to play it again so i've decided

i'm going to replay every single ace attorney game, but the french versions, and i'm going to keep count of how many times anyone says "oh là là"

i'm only going to count non-penalty dialogue, so nothing that's incorrect or "non-canon" to the story. i'll try my best to scour all the optional dialogue though, just in case there are any "oh là là"s hiding in there.

sadly the great ace attorney does not. HOWEVER, there is a fan translation in progress! i will check for any "oh là là"s in there, but i'll leave it till the end just in case capcom decide to bless us with official french anime victorian london at any point in the meantime.

well, I had to do more than upgrade my graphics card, but we're up and running lmao. Hopefully that means I'll have story posts soonish. maybe not this week but next? (I have family stuff to do tomorrow, so I won't have a lot of time to play. plus, I'm sorta testing the games/graphics boundaries as well, rather than playing playing.)

or rather, I had to update my graphics card, but then it wasn't compatible with the power supply (needed more than available) I had, which I could only update if I upgraded the motherboard, so... in short I built my own PC now lmao.

no pink flashing yet! running on high graphics, and clean UI, with gunmod's lighting. Still running on my old win10 install though.

you have to bail out bakugo though and he pouts on the whole ride back home. still clears snow for you by setting it on fire cause he's stubborn and doesn't learn.

The second time he does it, I stand there on the porch in slippers and a cardigan threatening to call shouto to have him melt the snow away if bakugou sets fire to the neighbor’s fence again

Oh anon - what a lovely ask. My headcannons tend to be very niche - like what happened the day Harry tweeted about Thatcher, but I’ll do my best.

Mostly I just hope that they’re kind to each other. They’ve been through a hell of year. They’ve had to learn to live with death and such huge grief. They’ve created art and put it out int he world and that’s terrifying in its own way and such a brave thing to do. People need love and support when they’re grieving and when they’re sharing themselves with the world. I hope that they’re that to each other. For a lot of our lives, what we need more than anyone else is someone to tell us that we’re doing amazing and that if we find life hard it’s because it is hard, not because there’s anything wrong with us. I hope they’re good at making each other feel like they’re doing great at being a person.

I’ve always really liked the stories of them buying each other expensive presents. There’s something so exuberant about it. They’re young and way too rich - why shouldn’t the people they love have everything that makes them happy. So lets imagine ridiculous gifts of art and clothes and plans for travel.

I hope that they’re learning about each other and figuring stuff out about themselves. Given the lyrics they’re written it seems like they sometimes have problems figuring out how to talk to each other. I hope they’re getting better at that. My core characterisation for them is that Harry wants to take people happy and Louis wants to take care people. I hope that Harry can learn how to do things he needs to do, even if it won’t make other people happy and Louis can practice letting people take care of him.
